The new British electric hypercar maker Dendrobium Automotive Limited recently made its UK public debut to huge acclaim within the stunning surroundings of Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire, England. The unique, all-electric Dendrobium D-1 wowed the guests at the ultra-exclusive 2018 Salon Privé garden party event, the model attracting enormous interest and many admiring glances, including the attention of His Grace The Duke of Marlborough of Blenheim Palace, who was very keen to discuss the unique and highly-advanced zero-emission D-1 hypercar.

The shortlist for The Classic & Sports Car Show’s ‘A Century of Supercars’ global poll has been confirmed, with 33 of the world’s fastest and most pioneering speed machines whittled down to 11 thanks to over 17,000 votes by members of the public. Supercar enthusiasts have been flocking online since June to vote for their favourite cars from 11 different eras, ranging from pre-1914 models all the way to modern machines built after 2010. Caterham Cars will be one of the stars of this year’s Supercar Event – the 10th anniversary of the charity initiative. The Supercar Event is an annual family-based event which offers fun activates such as supercar and helicopter rides, land hovercrafts and a Stay Safe Driving School for children aged 14 and over. Lotus Cars is delighted to announce the prices of the new Evora 400. The latest supercar from Lotus combines high performance with the legendary Lotus benchmark handling and is lighter, more efficient and dynamically better than ever, providing a purer driving experience. According to AutoCar, the 986bhp McLaren P1 GTR will be converted for road use by British marque specialist Lanzante. The Hampshire-based firm, which is renowned for its work on customer McLaren F1s and F1 GTRs, has decided to undertake the conversion work following demand from customers who have bought the track-only version of the P1 GTR from the factory. More than 40 £1.98m P1 GTRs were sold, with the cars being offered to existing P1 road car owners only. The track car has a kerb weight of 1440kg, giving it around 685bhp per tonne. McLaren has launched its second model in the new Sports Series, the McLaren 540C Coupé, at the Shanghai Motor Show. The most attainable McLaren yet, the 540C Coupé joins the recently revealed 570S Coupé in the Sports Series as the brand brings its race derived DNA to a new audience and segment. These introductions bring the number of new McLarens launched in 2015 to four as the brand continues its rapid growth. Globally available and priced from £126,000, the 540C Coupé can be pre-ordered now with deliveries scheduled to being in early 2016. McLaren unveiled the 570S coupe before its public debut party at the New York auto show this week. The newest British supercar will be part of the two-car McLaren Sports Series, which falls below the Super Series that includes the 650S and 675SLT. The all-new McLaren Sports Series brings McLaren race-derived technologies and supercar driving exhilaration to the sports car market for the first time. Launching with two power outputs, the Sports Series offers class-leading performance, lightweight construction including a carbon fibre chassis, recognisable McLaren design values and a comprehensive specification list. Resurrected British automaker Lister Motor Company has released two sketches of their forthcoming hypercar. Back in September 2013 we heard Lister saying they are back in action and will resume production after an absence of almost 25 years and now the company has provided a first glimpse at their brand new hypercar. It won’t come cheap that’s for sure as Lister says it will cost somewhere in the region of £2 million (€2.54 million or $3.2 million) which means that it will probably go up against the LaFerrari, P1, 918 Spyder, One:1 and the Veyron successor. There was something for everyone produced in Britain at Geneva – from the £10,000 Nissan Note to the £265,000 Rolls-Royce Silver Wraith. But the most spectacular British debut at the show was the £886,000 McLaren P1, a car being billed as a “hybrid hypercar” — a green supercar. The fearsome and fabulous-looking P1 is the 217mph successor to the legendary F1 that was the world’s fastest car when launched in 1999. The P1 is powered by a combination of a 727bhp, 3.8litre twin turbo V8 engine and a 176bhp electric motor. That’s a total of 903bhp that delivers 0.62mph in 2.8 seconds. Even though Lotus and Mansory have two compete different approach to making cars – the former likes light and agile cars with no excess, while the former prefers big, ostentatious cars with lots of garnish – they decided to join forces. Lotus officially announced Mansory as their customization studio. Their differences will complement each other, probably. Mansory has already had a go at the Lotus Evora, and contributed on the Evora GTE and Swiss Beatz Red Evora projects, but the first outcome of this alliance will be shown at the 2012 Paris Motor Show. XKR-S Coupe and Convertible. Only 25 XKR-S Convertibles are scheduled to come to our shores, with an allocation of only 100 Coupes. All have sold out. Fortunately, even though all of the 2012 examples have been sold, this special sports car is a halo vehicle for Jaguar and is scheduled for a three-year production run. Both XKR-S models are propelled by an AJ – Gen III, 5.0-liter DOHC, 32-valve Roots-Type twin-vortex Supercharged V8 engine with spray-guided Direct Injection. The modified V8 engine produces 550 hp in a range from 6,000 to 6,500 rpm, while also generating 502 lb ft of torque from 2,500 to 5,500 rpm. It is positioned longitudinally up front.
