David Townsend Produces Jaguar E-Type 60th Anniversary Artwork

We love to see when our friends do great things, and the newly issued limited-edition Jaguar E-Type artwork by David Townsend is just such a great thing.

Jaguar E-Type 60th Anniversary Artwork by David Townsend for Moss Motors of Fixed Head Coupe "9600 HP

To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Jaguar E-Type, Moss Motors commissioned limited edition artwork depicting Fixed Head Coupe “9600 HP” and Roadster “77RW”. These were the E-Type prototypes that were unveiled to stunned audiences at the 1961 Geneva International Motor Show.

Digitally Illustrated by our friend and artist David Townsend in his unique “cutaway” style, only sixty prints of each car exist. Each 22″ x 16″ fine-art print is hand-signed and numbered, accompanied by a matching certificate of authenticity. Printed on Verona archival paper using naturally pigmented inks, they are well suited for professional framing.

Please note that these prints are only available through Moss Motors. While David has a fantastic selection of automotive artwork available on his Sports Car Art website, these prints were commissioned exclusively for Moss. And, not to sound like a sales pitch, but with only 60 of each print available, you should probably act fast to grab this piece of E-Type history. Once sold, there will be no more.

  1. Thanks for the ink! What a pleasure to work with Moss Motors on this very special commission illustrating two of my all-time favorite cars—the E-type coupe and E-type roadster.
