Bespoke Rallies has announced its 2027 calendar: five classic car events ranging from a three-day Highland tour in March to a month-long crossing of India, Bhutan and Nepal in October. In between come the Spitfire Scramble at Sywell Aerodrome, a D-Day tour of Normandy with The Spectator, and the 19-day White Nights rally to the top of Scandinavia.

McLaren has opened final orders for the 750S, confirming the supercar will end production in 2027. Introduced in 2023 as the successor to the 720S, the 750S closes out a decade of lightweight V8 McLaren supercars that earned major awards on the road and wins in international GT racing. Bespoke MSO personalization remains available to the very end.

MINI has unveiled the Countryman Untamed Edition, a more rugged take on its largest model with raised suspension, Pirelli Scorpion all-terrain tyres and ALL4 all-wheel drive. Exclusive colours including the first matt paint in MINI series production, an AUTOHOME roof tent and a HELINOX camping collection complete the package. Production starts in Leipzig in November 2026, with the market launch in early 2027.

MG Motor UK registered 18,026 vehicles in September, the highest-volume sales month in the brand’s history and its sixth consecutive monthly record, lifting it to fourth in the UK sales rankings. Registrations rose 23.7 percent year on year for a 5.14 percent market share, capping a record third quarter of 30,189 vehicles, with electrified powertrains accounting for 91.6 percent of the month’s sales.

The YRB Racing-run Car Blanche team took a maiden IMSA GTD Pro victory at Motul Petit Le Mans on Saturday, as Mattia Drudi, Marco Sorensen and Valentin Hasse Clot gave the Aston Martin Vantage GT3 its third class win in the 10-hour Road Atlanta classic. The New Jersey squad won in only its sixth IMSA start and its third race in GTD Pro, capping an outstanding first chapter before it steps up to the class full time.

Jaguar unveiled the Type 01 at a world premiere in New York on October 6: a four-door electric GT with more than 1,000PS, a 400-mile EPA range, and prices starting at 130,000 GBP. The first production car on the new Jaguar Electric Architecture, it is the most powerful and aerodynamically advanced car the marque has ever made, and Jaguar says it is meant to stand alongside greats like the E-type and XJS. Orders open in early 2027.

Land Rover Classic has launched an official Defender Works V8 Conversion, announced September 23 from Coventry. The programme drops a 405hp 5.0-litre naturally aspirated V8 with an eight-speed ZF automatic into eligible 2012-2016 Defender 90 and 110 models, with chassis upgrades to match. It tops a new upgrade programme for the classic Defender and finally gives V8 fans a factory-built option.

Aston Martin has introduced the DBX GT, a more comfortable and understated take on its V8 SUV. Revealed October 1 from Gaydon, it keeps the 727PS twin-turbo engine of the DBX S but trades visual drama for luxury, refinement and a quieter cabin. CEO Adrian Hallmark says it is aimed at customers who prefer assured elegance over sporting aggression, delivering a true ultra-luxury experience with no sacrifice in performance.

MINI USA is bringing back a familiar GT look with the MINI 1998 GT Edition, a limited-run version of the Cooper C 2 Door inspired by the classic Mini 1275 GT and the later MINI 1499 GT. Despite the name, the number refers to the car’s 1,998 cc turbocharged engine, not the year 1998. The edition combines Midnight Black Metallic paint, orange graphics and John Cooper Works-inspired styling with a set of GT-specific details.

MINI USA is preparing for its first Rebelle Rally entry, with driver Felicia Killman and navigator Erika Ferrer training for 1,500 miles of rugged terrain in the American West. In its September 23 update, MINI said the pair had completed field training on dunes, rocks and loose ground and had seen the prepared vehicle they will compete in, with the adventure-oriented model variant set for a global reveal shortly before the rally.

The Heart of Racing Team took the Aston Martin Vantage back to the podium at the 6 Hours of Fuji on September 27, recovering from a difficult start to finish second in the FIA World Endurance Championship’s LMGT3 class. Ian James, Zach Robichon and Mattia Drudi followed their Circuit of the Americas victory with another strong result in Japan – the Vantage’s fifth WEC class podium of 2026, keeping the team’s title hopes alive.

Bentley’s first fully electric car, the Torcal, debuts in London with up to 888 PS and 375 miles of range, built by hand in Crewe in a factory building dating from 1938.

Bentley marks 80 years at Crewe with heritage gatherings and Mulliner tributes to the Mark VI, the first car built at Pyms Lane in 1946.

Jaguar’s E-type wins the 2026 Goodwood Revival RAC TT finale, with British saloons, Austin J40s and tributes to Brabham and Sheene completing the weekend.

The restored Sunbeam 1000hp is set for a planned low-speed return to Daytona Beach on March 29, 2027, a century after Henry Segrave broke the 200 mph barrier there.

The mighty Sunbeam 1000hp will make its post-restoration debut at the 2026 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance in California before attempting a centennial run at Daytona the following spring. Organisers of the prestigious automotive gathering announced today that the Sunbeam 1000hp will Headline Special Curated Class at the 75th Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. The legendary vehicle is currently being restored at the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu in Hampshire, England. The aim of the restoration campaign is to return the British engineering icon to Daytona Beach, Florida, in 2027, marking 100 years since it broke the 200mph Land Speed Record in 1927. Significant milestones in its restoration have been met including having the colossal 22.4 litre Matabele V12 aero engine roar to life once again.

Hagerty’s world-renowned Festival of the Unexceptional returns to Grimsthorpe Castle, Lincolnshire, on Saturday 26th July, with thousands of mundane motors from around the world on display, and a Concours de l’Ordinaire selection of 50 of the world’s rarest ordinary cars.
