The McLaren McL 6GT has made its global public debut at the 2026 Concours at Wynn Las Vegas, stepping out in public for the first time following its private unveiling during Monterey Car Week in August.

Drawing inspiration from the McLaren M6GT, Bruce McLaren’s original but unfulfilled supercar dream of 1969-70, the McL 6GT leans on the company’s heritage in a way McLaren says feels authentic and relevant today, with modern tactility and pure driver connection emphasized throughout. It pairs lightweight carbon-fibre construction with V8 internal combustion power and, for the first time in a McLaren since the legendary McLaren F1, an authentic manual transmission sending drive to the rear wheels.

The McL 6GT also lays the foundations for a newly positioned and highly exclusive type of McLaren supercar, sitting beyond the core supercar line and the company’s newly announced SUV. A production version of the McL 6GT is set to be made real in 2028.
The debut came at the fifth annual Concours at Wynn Las Vegas, where the car appeared alongside its 1969-70 M6GT ancestor. A full set of press images and more information on the McL 6GT is available from the McLaren Automotive media site.
