Please join the members of the Villages British Motoring Club for our first all-British car show. Located within the mock Victorian town center of Lake Sumter Landing, the car show will include a variety of awards, British car-related vendors, photographs of James Bond (Daniel Craig impersonator) behind the wheel of your car, and the possibility of winning an oil painting of your car. Ask our Brit car expert your most difficult mechanical question. The British Festival includes British music, dancing, food, and other vendors. This type of activity in The Villages usually attracts 3,000 to 12,000 attendees. Wheels Across The Pond is one of the premier British Classic Car and Motorcycle Shows in the state of Florida taking place on Easter Saturday each year at the beautiful Carlin Park in Jupiter. Since our first show in 2007, we have continued to grow to where now we can expect more than 300 British and European Classics every year. Wheels Across The Pond is free to spectator admission and our show raises money each year a Jupiter-based no-kill animal rescue center, the Busch Wildlife Sanctuary. Our 2019 show was our 13th Annual Show and attracted 301 entries and 46 separate classes and these entries consisted of 46 motorcycles in 8 classes, 76 European cars in 9 classes and 179 British cars in 29 classes. Tampa Bay Austin-Healey Club will be hosting this event alongside their annual All British Meet & Auto Jumble, with whom the Classic will be sharing the car show event on Saturday. There are many Southeastern Classic (SEC) only activities planned, including a drive out to an auto museum on Thursday, a drive into Florida’s famous horse country on Friday, along with a tech session and a meet & greet hospitality downtown on Friday evening.

Now in its third decade, the Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance is among the top automotive events in the world. Held the first full weekend in March, “The Amelia” draws more than 300 rare vehicles from collections around the world to The Golf Club of Amelia Island, The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island for a celebration of the automobile like no other. Racer, writer, broadcaster, entrepreneur, and motivational speaker Lyn St. James is the Honoree of the 26 th annual Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance. The show’s Foundation has donated over $3.75 million to Community Hospice & Palliative Care, Spina Bifida of Jacksonville, and other local and national charities since 1996.

The Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance is one of the world’s premiere motoring events. For one weekend every March, legendary personalities from every facet of motorsports gather along with hundreds of the world’s most beautiful, historic, and unique automobiles at the stunning Ritz-Carlton Amelia Island. The Panhandle British Car Association is hosting our 28th “Brits on the Bay” British Car Show on April 17th – 18th, 2019 in historic Pensacola Florida. The “Participants Choice Award” and Class Awards are determined by the votes of registered show participants. The “Best of Show Award” is a Judged Award. Each vehicle entered will receive a ballot and dash plaque placed in the car at noon. Voting closes at 2:00 pm and awards are at 3:30pm. There are approximately 26 classes as determined by pre-registration numbers and each class will be awarded a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place trophy as applicable. The annual event for the AMGCRA will be held in conjunction with the Pensacola British Car Association’s 28th Brits on the Bay in Pensacola. The event will include driving tours, visits to the Museum of Naval Aviation and the Pensacola Transportation Museum, the car show on Saturday and awards banquet. The host hotel will be the Best Western Beachside Resort.

The Eighth Annual B.I.G. European Car Show (British, Italian & German) We have another opportunity this year for various clubs to have their members sharewith fellow enthusiasts and the public their enjoyment and experiences of owning a B.I.G.European sports or collector car. This car show is free to the public and open to all B.I.G.European sports and collector cars, vintage and modern, held on Sunday, March 1, 2020 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Participating cars can enter the show-field between 8:30 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. Voting closes at 12:00 noon. Participants will vote for their favorite cars within each class. Show ends at 2:00 pm. Awards presentation follows.
