Jaguar North America today announced the national marketing launch plans for the brand’s first-ever, all-electric performance SUV, the I-PACE, led by the Jaguar Electrifies Experience, a multi-city national tour that will kick off in San Francisco and travel to key U.S. EV markets: Los Angeles, South Florida and the New York City metro areas. The Jaguar Electrifies Experience is designed to engage, entertain, and educate consumers on the full Jaguar vehicle lineup as well as the benefits of owning an electric vehicle. In addition to the Experience, retailers will host launch events throughout the fall to introduce the Jaguar I-PACE to consumers across the country.

Jaguar Land Rover is proud to announce it will show three new vehicles at the New York Motor Show alongside the widest range in the history of the company. Developed and engineered by Jaguar Land Rover Special Operations, the F-PACE SVR is the fastest and most powerful version of this award-winning SUV. The F-PACE won the 2017 World Car of the Year (WCOTY) overall award and design award, as well as numerous other global awards. The all-new F-PACE SVR is engineered in the UK by Special Vehicle Operations.

Jaguar has created a unique film, Blacklight, to celebrate the 70 awards won globally by the F-PACE performance SUV. The practical British-built performance family car counts the World Car of the Year 2017 and World Car Design of the Year 2017 titles among its 70 awards. Jaguar has celebrated this success with a unique film that dramatically captures F-PACE’s acclaimed exterior design and state-of-the-art engineering.

The Jaguar F-PACE is among the finalists for the World Car of the Year and World Car Design of the Year crowns at the 2017 World Car Awards. Jaguar’s performance SUV is one of three cars on the shortlist announced at the Geneva Motor Show. The winner will be revealed at the New York International Auto Show on 13 April based on the votes of a 75-strong judging panel.

The Jaguar F-PACE has put on another dramatic display of dynamic precision and control. After setting the Guinness World Record for the world’s biggest loop-the-loop at its launch last year, the very same record-breaking F-PACE and stunt driver Terry Grant have teamed up again for a thrilling drive at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. This time Grant piloted Jaguar’s first family sports car up the famous Goodwood hill on two wheels. The all-new Jaguar F-PACE helped propel Jaguar Land Rover to its best ever May, with retail sales of 44,946 vehicles, up 18% on May 2015. This is the company’s fifth consecutive record-breaking month. Jaguar Land Rover sold 245,100 vehicles in the first five months of 2016, 23% up on the same period in the prior year. The Jaguar F-PACE, which is designed, engineered, and manufactured in the UK, has seen impressive results this month, with more than 3,000 vehicles sold worldwide. The new family sports car is the company’s fastest selling Jaguar ever. Retail sales for the month of May were up year-on-year across all regions: 28% in China, 24% in Europe, 23% in the UK and 8% in North America.  Other Overseas markets were up 6% year-on-year.

José Mourinho has mastered the art of high-speed drifting and full throttle ice driving on a 60km frozen lake at Jaguar Land Rover’s extreme testing facility in Arjeplog, Sweden. The sporting icon was testing a high-performance Jaguar F-PACE S as part of an extreme driver training experience just 40 miles from the Arctic Circle. In 2017, the Jaguar Ice Drive Experience will be available to customers from all over the world.

Jaguar designed a special livery for its Team Sky F-PACE prototype to celebrate Team Sky’s third Tour de France victory in four years in Paris today. The prototype version of the Jaguar F-PACE, which was used as Team Sky’s support vehicle on Stage 1 in Utrecht, returned to the race in a celebratory light camouflage as Chris Froome and his teammates crossed the finish line to celebrate the British rider’s second Tour de France win. Photographs from Team Sky’s 1-2 finish in La-Pierre-Saint-Martin, where Froome won his first stage followed by teammate, Richie Porte, as well as other highlights including Geraint Thomas tackling the mountains, Luke Rowe leading the team out on the cobbles to the early team time trial stages, are all a part of the commemorative and inspirational camouflage depicting key moments from this year’s race. The Jaguar F-PACE broke cover today in front of a predicted live audience of one million people as it supported Team Sky on Stage One of the Tour de France in Utrecht. Over two billion more were also estimated to have watched on television or online around the world. Five Team Sky riders – Ian Stannard, Luke Rowe, Peter Kennaugh, Leopold König  and Chris Froome – were supported by the F-PACE during the Grand Depart, providing a pressurised real world test of Jaguar’s first performance crossover.
