    Since 1997 the Chicagoland MG Club swap meet has been held at the DuPage County Fairgrounds in Wheaton, Illinois in early spring. The site is an indoor heated facility that is centrally located approximately 30 miles due west of downtown Chicago. There will be a food vendor on-site and an ATM in the building. We have reserved our usual date and buildings in the expectation that Covid related group restrictions will not preclude it. At this time, a requirement for indoor masking is the only restriction in effect at our site.   • 22nd Annual Williamsburg British Car Club British & European Car Show

    This is a popular vote car show.  Balloting for best in class will be conducted by the registrants; judging for The Chairman's Best will be judged by three WBCC members.     This year's British Car Roundup will be held on Saturday, April 23, at the Jaguar Land Rover Albuquerque dealership, 5010 Alameda Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87113. Registration starts at 9:30 am and the show will run from 10:00 am to Noon. The entry fee is $10 for BAOA members and $20 for non-members.     Drive it Day is the Historic Vehicle Movement’s National Awareness Day and falls this year, on Sunday 24th April 2022. As well as raising awareness and support for the future of the historic vehicle movement by getting our transport heritage visible on the UK roads altogether for one special day, the event also raises money for NSPCC's Childline. National Drive It Day was created by the Federation of British Historic Vehicle Clubs in 2005.  It is the occasion when historic vehicle enthusiasts and the public at large have the opportunity to celebrate the One Thousand Mile Trial organized in 1900 to prove the viability of the new invention, the motor vehicle.   • 37th All British & European Car Day – Dallas, Texas

    Bring any British or European vintage auto, motorbike, or scooter, driver or show, new or old to celebrate the 37th Annual Exhibiting of fine British & European motoring Sunday, May 1st, 2022 from 10 am to 4 pm. Each of the fourteen classes will have 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place awards determined by popular voting as well as Best of Show and Best Preservation.     Britfest is a car show featuring British sports cars, motorcycles, and other vehicles. Preregistration is available now at the link below. There will also be registration at the gate. Both preregistration and gate registration are $25. Spectator admission is $3 and children under 12 are admitted free. All British marques are welcome. The show is very popular with British car and motorcycle enthusiasts attracting up to 250 vehicles and 600 spectators annually. Voting for "Best of Show", "People's Choice" etc. will take place from 9 am to 12 noon. Dash plaques to the first 100 cars. This year we will be celebrating the 60th anniversary of the MGB. Registration forms and information will be on the website. The show is on grass, not pavement. Food is available for purchase.
