Since 1976, an annual Conclave has been hosted as the signature national event of the AHCA. The location moves each year allowing members to enjoy various parts of the United States and Canada, and each local region has the opportunity to bid for the privilege of hosting the Conclave. This weeklong celebration takes place during the summer months (traditionally June or July) to take advantage of the warm days and cool nights, as well as to provide maximum access for members of any age to participate. Replica cars made in England with British components (e.g. Panther) and specialty cars with British chassis and running gear (e.g. Arkley) are welcome, as are British bodied cars with American engines, including conversions. The weekend kicks off with the Friday Welcome Party, followed by the Saturday car show, Guided walking tours, BBQ, Giant Slalom competition, People's Choice balloting, a live music performance, Arts, Crafts & Photo Contest, Scavenger Hunt for the Kiddos, Best in Show designation and a Land Rover Adventure Ride. The largest All-British Motorcar Show and British Lifestyle Event in the USA, annually attracting over 600 British Motorcars to the scenic town of Stowe, Vermont as the inception of Fall Foliage Season (September 13th-15th, 2019). Events start with a Friday evening Street Party with a live band. Saturday is the Big Day with over 65 separate classes in the British Classic Motorcar Show (People’s Choice); the Concours d’Elegance Competition (Judged); a Car Corral (British Motorcars For Sale); British Marketplace of Vendors; British Invasion Music; Food & Beverage service; the Queen’s Court (Ladies Hat Competition); and the British Attire Competition (open to the public). British Car Day® is a volunteer-run event hosted annually by the Toronto Triumph Club, a not-for profit organization. Since its inaugural event in 1984, British Car Day® has grown in leaps and bounds, and this past year drew 1,000 British cars, over 50 vendors and 8,000 spectators. British Car Day® is held on the third Sunday of September and is open to vintage, classic and current British manufactured vehicles, including motorcycles. The event is the largest, one-day, all-British car event in North America, with visitors from Ontario, the northeast United States, the Maritime Provinces, Quebec, and Manitoba, representing membership in 100 British car clubs. The Toronto Triumph Club supports the Oakville Lions Club and Friends of Bronte Park. All park gate receipts go to Bronte Creek Provincial Park. |

The 40th Annual edition of one of the longest running British Car Shows in the USA promises to be a great event, we are expecting over 200 cars with MGs of all models and 8 classes of other British Marques. Popular vote balloting by the car owners is from 10:00 until 1:00 and awards are given out about 3:00 p.m. Winners, chosen by car owner peers, receive awards at their cars as the crowd walks around the show field at the end.
