There is a Classic Land Rover event on Saturday, April 27th. It will be held at Patriots Point, is called The Lowcountry Series, and is an offshoot of the Vineyard Series Events. This is their first event down south.

Myrtle Beach BRITFEST 2024 will be held in beautiful Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, rain or shine, the weekend of October 4 – 6, 2024. Myrtle Beach BRITFEST is a popular regional British car show, featuring new, classic, antique, and rare British cars & motorcycles of every kind, and other European vehicles!

Join the SBMOC on the beautiful mall of Furman University, Greenville, South Carolina. Please mark your calendars for an exciting and unique British Classic car show event on Saturday, May 25, 2024. All British cars and motorcycles are eligible. Triumph will be the featured marque this year. Your registration fee of $40 includes entrance of one (1) car into the show and 2 admission tickets to the Greenville Scottish Games. Each Car will also receive a commemorative dash plaque. The festivities will commence on Friday with a picnic or a delightful midday Authentic British Tea at Edisto Hall at James Island County Park. Next, you can take your car on a tour of the scenic low country of South Carolina ending at Deep Water Vineyard. Friday will end with an evening Welcome Reception. The highlight of Saturday’s events will be the Club’s 38th Annual British Car Show, featuring a special showcase of MGs that will trace the evolution of this legendary marque. The Carolina British Classic car show is held each year in conjunction with the annual Tartan Day South Festival.

Charleston’s long-running British Car Day attracts British cars from Florida to Ohio. The show is on a grassed field surrounded by Live Oak trees. The show attracts cars from a 1909 Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost to a 2018 McLaren 720S along with Triumph’s, MG’s, Austin Healey’s, Aston Martin’s, Jaguar’s, Bentley’s, and British motorcycles. We have a Spotlight Margue this year, the Morgan. We are planning a very special Welcome Reception the day before the show, so come early! In homage to our rich history and 20-year tradition, the 2022 Hilton Head Island Concours d’Elegance & Motoring Festival has elevated every aspect of this unique Lowcountry lifestyle event into an art form.

The 12th Annual Great Scot! British Car Show will feature a joint salute to the US and Scottish Military on Saturday, May 28, 2022, at Furman University. Your registration fee of $35 includes entrance of one (1) car into the show, and 2 admission tickets to the Greenville Scottish Games. Each Car will also receive a commemorative dash plaque. Late registration on the day of the show will be $40.00. There is no charge to visit the car show. Free tickets will be available for registrants that wish to visit the Highland games arena at the show, and we certainly recommend you spend some time there. The 10th Annual Tartan Day South Celebration is a four-day event honoring Celtic heritage in our area. The festival is an array of different events at many different venues featuring unique sports; incredible music; great foods; and interesting, interactive exhibitions. Nearly 85,000 patrons have attended Tartan Day South events since 2011.

This October 23th will be the Club’s 36th Annual British Car Day.  If you have a British car or motorcycle, The British Car Club of Charleston invites you to join us for the day.

Unfortunately, the Greenville Scottish Games will not be hosted this year at Furman University. In its place a British Car Cruise-In show and Scottish Music event is being organized for Saturday, May 15 at Thomas Creek Brewing, 2054 Piedmont Hwy, Greenville, SC 29605.

Hilton Head Island’s own Concours d’Elegance & Motoring Festival offers the best of the best in automotive exhibition, racing, dining, and luxury lifestyle. It’s more than just an event — it’s a multi-day world-class destination experience. And you must be there to experience ​life’s finest moments…curated, elevated, refined. The vintage racing in Savannah is October the 21st through the 24th.  The concourse and show events are November  5 – 7, 2021 on Hilton Head Island.  

The Great Race is an antique, vintage, and collector car competitive controlled-speed endurance road rally on public highways. It is not a test of top speed. It is a test of a driver/navigator team’s ability to follow precise course instructions and the cars (and teams) ability to endure on a cross-country trip. The course instructions require the competing teams to drive at or below the posted speed limits at all times. Each day the driver and navigator team receives a set of course instructions that indicate every turn, speed change, stop, and start that the team must make throughout the day (usually 220 to 250 such instructions per day).
