The Grand Strand British Car Club brings Myrtle Beach BRITFEST 2026 to The Market Common on Saturday, October 3. The British car and motorcycle show runs from 9am to 4pm, rain or shine, at 965 Johnson Avenue. Spectator admission is free. The show field opens at 9am, with same-day vehicle registration until 11am. Entrant voting begins at 11:15am and ends at 1:30pm; awards are planned for 2:30pm. The day also includes an English tea and Best Hat competition, an auto jumble, basket raffles and food trucks. Entrants can join Friday activities on October 2, including miniature golf, a scenic drive and an evening reception at Tidal Creek Brewhouse. The British Car Club of Charleston hosts its 41st annual British Car Day on Saturday, October 17, at Palmetto Islands County Park in Mount Pleasant. The public show runs from 11am to 3pm, with British cars, lunch from food trucks, a silent auction and awards. Bring the family; park admission is $2 per person. Show-car registration runs from 9am to 11am. Participants vote from 11am to 1:30pm (paper ballots by 1pm), with the silent auction closing at 1:30pm and trophies and ribbons presented at 2pm. The club invites entrants to dress their cars in the period in which they were built, with a Best Presentation trophy chosen by participants. Charleston’s long-running British Car Day attracts British cars from Florida to Ohio. The show is on a grassed field surrounded by Live Oak trees. The show attracts cars from a 1909 Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost to a 2018 McLaren 720S along with Triumph’s, MG’s, Austin Healey’s, Aston Martin’s, Jaguar’s, Bentley’s, and British motorcycles. We have a Spotlight Margue this year, the Morgan. We are planning a very special Welcome Reception the day before the show, so come early! Tour and Reception For those who arrive early, we have a full Friday of events planned. Friday will start at 11 am with a meet-up at the McLeod Plantation. The 12th Annual Great Scot! British Car Show will feature a joint salute to the US and Scottish Military on Saturday, May 28, 2022, at Furman University. Your registration fee of $35 includes entrance of one (1) car into the show, and 2 admission tickets to the Greenville Scottish Games. Each Car will also receive a commemorative dash plaque. Late registration on the day of the show will be $40.00. There is no charge to visit the car show. Free tickets will be available for registrants that wish to visit the Highland games arena at the show, and we certainly recommend you spend some time there.
