The Austin Healey Sports & Touring Club will hold its annual Encounter at The Westin Princeton at Forestal Village in Princeton, NJ, on August 9-12, 2017.  This convention is open to all Austin Healey enthusiasts in the US and Canada. Encounter 40 will be held in the Princeton, NJ area August 9-12, 2017. This will be the 40th consecutive Encounter meet. The car show will be on the village streets with food, music & more!! Jaguar Land Rover Moving North American Headquarters to Mahwah, NJ

Jaguar Land Rover, North America, the Mahwah-based arm of British premium automaker Jaguar Land Rover Limited, announced today it has received Mahwah Township Planning Board approval to begin customizing and expanding an office complex on Rt. 17 North in Mahwah, within Bergen County, to be the site of its new North American headquarters. Construction on the existing facility will begin this year, with design by Gensler Architecture/Design Inc. The move to the new facility from the current headquarters in Mahwah is slated for early 2018. Jaguar Land Rover is in the midst of multi-year growth streak with expanding product lineups for both its Jaguar and Land Rover brands. Through the first eight months of 2016, the company’s U.S. sales have increased 46 percent and Canadian sales have increased 33 percent.

Brits on the Beach 2016: 19th Annual British Car Day at Historic Ocean Grove, NJ on Saturday, Sept. 17th. Presented by the Positive Earth Drivers Club. Judging by participants choice, dash plaques for the first 130 cars. Walk the Ocean Boardwalk just 2 blocks from the show field. Have lunch at one of Ocean Grove’s many cafés and restaurants. Stroll the Main Ave. business district and check out the town’s antique dealers, gift shops, clothing stores and other businesses. Tour the area and see the historic Great Hall, quaint Tent City and the many Victorian Hotels, Inns and other buildings. This is the one car show your wife will want to come to! The show will go on rain or shine.

A gathering of classic British cars & motorcycles.  Saturday June 11, 2016 from 9am to 3pm. All marques welcome.This year’s show is scheduled for This year’s show is scheduled for June 11th and it will be held at the usual location, on the beautiful grounds of the Hermitage Museum in Ho-Ho-Kus, New Jersey.  This event is one of the premier shows of the summer here, very well attended, and showcases up to 150 classic vehicles in 30 classes.

New Jersey British Car Owner’s Ice Cream Social

The British Motor Club of Southern New Jersey will host a British Car Owners’ Ice Cream Social on Saturday, July 25 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. The event will take place at Five Points Custard, Route 540 Landis Ave. and Route 557, Tuckahoe Road in East Vineland. British car enthusiasts and their motorcars Austin Healeys, Jaguars, MG’s Triumphs etc. will gather for a free entry, non-judged evening event.
