2020 Ranger Rover Evoque Revealed

Thursday at the Chicago Auto Show, Land Rover revealed the next generation Range Rover Evoque for the first time in the U.S. In true Land Rover fashion, the new Range Rover Evoque made its dynamic debut on an indoor off-road experience course at the McCormick Place convention center. Chicago-based, brother-sister R&B artists, Solo and Jaime Woods provided a live soundtrack to the debut of the Range Rover Evoque and stayed on hand to entertain guests throughout the luncheon that followed. Angela Brantley and Rhea Fernandez, founders of Chicago-based luxury fashion brand, HERO/BLACK, were also in attendance to help celebrate the debut of the vehicle.

Latest Ingenium Engine for Discovery Sport & Evoque

The 2018 model year Land Rover Discovery Sport and Range Rover Evoque both receive Jaguar Land Rover’s all-new 2.0-litre four-cylinder Ingenium petrol engines, offering smooth, refined performance. This is the first introduction of Jaguar Land Rover’s new petrol Ingenium family into its Land Rover vehicles. The new additions support the company’s long-term commitment to reduce vehicle emissions and improve fuel economy across its range through the introduction of more efficient engines. The new four-cylinder Ingenium petrol engine, at the heart of Jaguar Land Rover’s low-emissions strategy, is produced at the company’s £1 billion Engine Manufacturing Centre in Wolverhampton, UK. Designed, engineered and manufactured in the UK, these are the most advanced engines the company has ever developed.

Land Rover’s Halewood production plant in the UK has built 600,000 units of the Evoque in just six years, bringing Range Rover luxury and refinement to new customers around the world. Demand is still increasing for the pioneering luxury compact SUV that delivers critically-acclaimed design, desirability and all-terrain capability to the segment it created in 2011. To celebrate six years of success, Land Rover has announced a new Special Edition model. The Evoque Landmark is available in a vibrant Moraine Blue color – inspired by the turquoise lakes of the Canadian Rocky Mountains. Priced from £39,000* in the UK, the Special Edition will make its global debut at the Royal Windsor Horse Show on 10 May, when orders will open.

A Jaguar Land Rover vehicle was registered every 30 seconds in March as Britain’s biggest car manufacturer continued a record-breaking start to 2017. Jaguar Land Rover celebrated its best March sales in its history with Jaguar sales up 68% to 9,484 and Land Rover achieving 22,283 sales, up by 14% percent, driven by a raft of new models.

Jaguar Land Rover has been honoured with three trophies at the prestigious Autonis design awards, voted for by readers of Germany’s leading motoring magazine, Auto Motor und Sport. In the 15th annual reader survey, 115 cars competed across ten categories with more than 17,500 votes cast.  The Jaguar XF led the upper middle class category with 42 per cent share of votes, beating local competition from the Audi A6 (35 per cent) and BMW 7-series (30.5 per cent). The all-new Jaguar XE scooped 36 percent of votes in the middle class group, relegating the Mercedes C-Class and BMW 3-series to second and third place with 29 and 28 per cent of the votes respectively.
