The show is sponsored by Delaware Valley Jaguar Club and CMOE Triumph Club.  It is a major concourse for Jaguars in the Philadelphia, NJ, and Delaware area. Last year we had several thousand people come to the show and several hundred British cars entered in the Jaguar concourse and the MG, Triumph, AH side as well. Enter your qualifying car or motorcycle by pre-registration only. Registration is $20 per car, $10 per motorcycle. Online registration closes at 8pm on Friday, May 27th, 2022. The British Are Coming…Once Again! Twenty-seven years is an amazing milestone for the Lewes British Motorcar Show, sponsored by the Lewes Chamber of Commerce in conjunction with the British Car Club of Delaware. The show will take place on the grounds of the Lewes Ferry Terminal for the Cape May-Lewes Ferry, overlooking the Delaware Bay. We are excited to be able to welcome the feature this year (also a new milestone), Modern British Classics, British cars 2001 and newer. So, for the first time, all British cars are welcome both classic and modern! Keep an eye out for classic and modern displays, side by side. While there will be much to see at the show, visitors are encouraged to take advantage of historic downtown Lewes, home to a wonderful number of shops and restaurants, as well as all that the Delaware beach area has to offer. British cars manufactured years 2000 and earlier are eligible to enter the show.  Update: Registration for cars is sold out While visiting the show, you are invited to enjoy our Historic Lewes Farmers Market and the quaint downtown Lewes, home to boutique shops where sidewalk sales will be held this weekend, and restaurants of many cuisines offer delicious fare and learn more about Lewes’s history by touring the Zwaanendael Museum and Lewes Historical Society properties.  For art lovers, Cape Artists Gallery and Peninsula Gallery will be open.  Enjoy the beautiful beaches in Lewes on the Delaware Bay and the Atlantic Ocean beach accessed through Cape Henlopen State Park. The British Car Club of Delaware is Celebrating 25 Years of the ‘British are Coming Again!’ Car Show – 1996 2020, sponsored by Lewes Chamber of Commerce held on Saturday, May 2, 2020 in historic Lewes, Delaware. The event is open to all British automobile enthusiasts many coming from the mid-Atlantic region such Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey and Virginia. 25th annual British car show features prizes in six categories by year of manufacture: Up to 1956, 1957-62, 1963-68, 1969-74, 1975-80, and 1981-2000.. Plus a seventh class for the 2019 featured marque: the Nash Metropolitan. Also a premier class for last year’s first place and best of show winners. Only original British vehicles. Replicas, kits or reproductions will not be accepted. Winners’ Circle Awards Parade through downtown Lewes. Held in conjunction with Merchants’ Spring Sidewalk Sale in the Historic Lewes Commercial District. Free shuttle service to Lewes’ commercial and historic district from the terminal.

The British Car Club of Delaware will once again be holding its “Brits By The River” show in historic downtown Delaware City on Sept 16,2017. Open to all makes, models and years of British vehicles. This year the featured marque will be Sunbeam. Dash plaques to the first 75, popular choice awards, convenient indoor dining, and restrooms. New this year is a car corral area where you can display your car for sale. $15 pre-registration until 9/9/2017, $20 afterwards. Register early as classes will be determined by pre- registration numbers.

British Car Club of Delaware’s Annual Show will be held on September 19, 2015 at Battery Park, 60 Clinton St., Delaware City, Delaware 19706, from 9:30AM-3:00PM.  The show is open to all makes, models and years British cars and bikes. The featured marque is Lotus this year. Free dash plaques to first 75 registrants. There will also be goodie bags and door prizes. The popular choice awards will be held at 2:30. Additionally, there is convenient dining located near the show location.   The BCCD is open to both owners and enthusiasts interested in the preservation of all the marques of British cars. Our members own Austin-Healeys, Triumphs, Jaguars and MGs, among other less common English cars.
