Simeone Museum – Great Britain: Land of Sports Cars DEMO DAY

The Simeone Museum’s February 23 Demo Day will feature driving demonstrations of five vintage British race cars:
* 1921 Vauxhall 30/98E Velox Tourer
* 1933 Squire Roadster
* 1936 Aston Martin Le Mans
* 1934 MG K3 Magnette
* 1938 Jaguar 3.5 Litre SS100
The event begins with a brief lecture on each car’s importance and its place in history. Immediately after the lecture, each car is demonstrated outdoors in the parking lot in a controlled setting, weather permitting. (The event moves indoors in case of bad weather.)
After the demonstration runs are complete, guests are allowed to see each car up close and take pictures.
Admission is included as part of the regular General Admission price, and you don’t want to miss the annual “Best of Britain” exhibit that will be going on Feb. 10-March 3.
