36th Annual British Motorcar Gathering and Picnic
Wickham Park 1329 West Middle Turnpike, Manchester, CT, United StatesLast years CTR British Motorcar Gathering and Picnic was held at Wickham Park on Sunday September 13th. Not a drop of rain fell there but unfortunately it rained in other parts of the state, leading to only 30 cars coming to the event. Those in attendance, however, enjoyed themselves as nearly everyone went home with a raffle prize, a show award, and in some cases both! And many took advantage of the food provided by Boy Scout Troop 28 of Hebron. They featured a delicious Triumph Burger complete with sausage, peppers, and mushrooms.

30th Chicagoland British Car Festival
Harper College 1200 West Algonquin Road, Palatine, IL, United StatesMore than 20 British car clubs, 500 automobiles and over 2,000 people are expected to join in the 30th annual Chicagoland British Car Festival, which is much more than just a car show. The Festival features, authentic British food, Irish dancers, music, technical learning sessions, car merchandise giveaways, classic car parts vendors and new car dealers showcasing the latest imports from Great Britain, including Jaguars and Bentleys. Registration starts on Thursday afternoon. There will be dinners on Thursday and Friday preceded by scenic drives.
