The Celebrated Zenos E10 Returns in Production Form, Priced from £115,900

Zenos has unveiled the latest generation of the celebrated E10, showing the comprehensively reengineered British sports car in production form for the first time. Prices start at £115,900, with deliveries commencing in the second quarter of 2027.

The 2027 Zenos E10 range offers two turbocharged models. The E10 r2 pairs a 2.3-litre four-cylinder engine developing 300bhp at 6000rpm and 425Nm of torque with a kerb weight of just 790kg, good for 380bhp per tonne. The headline E10 rZ steps up to a 2.0-litre four producing 380bhp and 510Nm, around 480bhp per tonne, with a claimed 0-62mph time of 3.2 seconds and a top speed of approximately 150mph. Both powertrains feature CAN bus control with new induction and chargecooler packages, paired with a six-speed manual gearbox and a limited slip differential.

With full carbon fibre bodywork, a carbon fibre tub and an extruded aluminium chassis, Zenos describes the E10 as the perfect antidote to today’s bloated and numb new cars. All significant weight is inboard of both axles, the fully independent front suspension uses pushrod and inboard-mounted dampers, and at the rear conventional coil-over dampers mount directly to the aluminium subframe that holds the engine and gearbox. Both front and rear tracks have increased over the previous generation, providing better stability and a slightly lowered centre of gravity.

Braking has received considerable development, with new, larger rotors, four-piston calipers and pads, and a new master cylinder for greater stopping power and pedal feel. Up front, fully integrated headlight units include running lights, indicators, dipped and main beam functions, while new ducting improves cooling to the front brakes and revised radiator packs separate main engine cooling from the turbo’s intercooler. Revised side skirts, with winglets trailing the front wheels and preceding the rear wheels, noticeably alter the car’s side profile as well as tuning overall aero performance.

The cabin gains a new dashboard with a latest-generation driver display and new, weatherproof switchgear, allowing a race car inspired AIMS PMU system to be employed. Brand new, in-house developed carbon fibre seats are fitted as standard, along with colour coded trim sections, and the car is available with either a full windscreen and wipers or a race wind deflector panel.

Body panels are available painted, in high-gloss visible weave or in a number of specific finishes. Standard metallic colours include Race White, Nitro Blue, Volcano Red, Midnight Black, Screaming Green and Fireburst Yellow, with bespoke options such as paint colour matching and colour coding of specific panels and interior sections.
