McLaren MSO and Pfaff Create Five Special 570S Spiders for Canada

McLaren Automotive, the British manufacturer of luxury sports and supercars, and Pfaff Automotive Partners, the distributor for McLaren automobiles in Canada, have partnered to create five very special 570S Spiders that celebrate McLaren’s racing and road-car history in Canada. Developed using the bespoke service available from McLaren Special Operations (MSO), which offers almost limitless design possibilities, the 570S Spiders are designated ‘Canada Commission’ and feature a number of unique design elements that pay tribute to McLaren’s Canadian history.

McLaren Special Operations (MSO), the bespoke division of McLaren Automotive, is extending its Sports Series offering with the 570GT MSO Black Collection. Featuring new MSO Bespoke Carbon Black exterior paint, as well as an MSO Defined Titanium SuperSports Exhaust and Sport Pack dynamic handling package to further amplify its sporty character, the collection is limited to only 100 examples globally. Priced at £179,950, the car promises to be a true collectible and offers enhanced driving thrills and a wealth of unique MSO content. The exterior of the vehicle is finished in Carbon Black, a striking and extremely deep color, developed specifically by McLaren Special Operations. McLaren Sports Series buyers now have even more opportunity to personalize their new car, as McLaren Special Operations (MSO) significantly extends the range of components available for the McLaren luxury sports car family. New additions to the MSO Defined portfolio include a Titanium SuperSports Exhaust; Black Pack body features; Extended Carbon Fibre Sill Covers with McLaren Branding and the choice of Black or McLaren Orange painted ignition keys. MSO Defined options are designed to further enhance both the appearance and technical credentials of McLaren cars, providing a greater choice of material finishes and in many instances delivering significant weight reduction compared to standard components.

A unique McLaren 720S supercar designed by McLaren Operations (MSO) is the centerpiece of the McLaren display at the 2017 Dubai International Motor Show, which takes place November 14 – 18. Created as an MSO Bespoke commission, the service from McLaren Special Operations that allows almost limitless enhancement and personalization of McLaren cars, the 720S is in Zenith Black paint with a satin finish. Gold-coloured alloy wheels, a 24-karat gold engine heat shield, and gold-colored interior components complement the exterior color.

McLaren Motorsport and MSO Join Forces

McLaren Special Operations (MSO), McLaren Automotive’s bespoke division, has been brought together with McLaren Motorsport under one management structure, headed by its new Managing Director, Ansar Ali. The new single department will combine the creation and marketing of McLaren’s rarest vehicles together with growing the MSO Defined portfolio aimed at series production cars. In a further change, the new single department will report into Jolyon Nash, Executive Director – Global Sales & Marketing. The integration of MSO into the Sales & Marketing department brings McLaren’s bespoke division even closer to retailers and customers and also brings all the revenue generating areas of the company together.

McLaren Special Operations Creates Limited Edition Carbon Series LT

McLaren Special Operations, the bespoke division of McLaren Automotive, has announced the creation of the MSO Carbon Series LT. Strictly limited to 25 units globally – all already sold – and based on the 675LT Spider, the Carbon Series LT has been produced in response to requests from McLaren customers captivated by the visual carbon fibre bodied McLaren P1™displayed recently at the International Geneva Motor Show. Staying true to the ‘Longtail’ ethos, established by the McLaren F1 in the late 1990s, the MSO Carbon Series LT has been developed with a focus on light weight and optimised aerodynamic performance. Applying gloss carbon fibre to the entire body of the car further extends its appeal to bring a brutal beauty to the existing 675LT Spider body, showcasing the skills of the McLaren bespoke division.

McLaren Returns To Pebble Beach With 570S

Four years on from its global launch, McLaren Special Operations (MSO) will return to the manicured lawns of the USA’s famous Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance later this month with a selection of distinctive and beautiful commissions. The bespoke division of McLaren will showcase some of the individualisation options it will make available on the forthcoming new 570S Coupé, the first model to join the McLaren Sports Series. Two examples have been created. The first 570S Coupé ‘by MSO’ features the uniquely formulated Mauvine Blue paint finish coupled with a bespoke interior finished in Carbon Black leather with co-ordinating detailing, carried through from the exterior colour. A second 570S Coupé, finished in Ventura Orange and fitted with a selection of styling details from the MSO Defined range of options, will take up position on the popular Concept Lawn at the event.
