Jaguar Land Rover North America announced that both brands have been honored as ‘2015 Most Popular’ on Edmunds.com. The Jaguar F-TYPE has been named a 2015 Most Popular Premium Sports Car and the 2015 Range Rover a 2015 Most Popular Premium Luxury SUV.
“The well-established Jaguar and Land Rover brands have a lot of appeal to those shopping in the premium luxury segments on our site,” said Edmunds.com CEO Avi Steinlauf. “These awards reflect significant interest in some very compelling new vehicles.”
The Jaguar F-TYPE represents a return to the company’s heart: a two-seat sports car focused on performance, agility and driver involvement. The 2015 Most Popular on Edmunds.com Award winners were finalized by identifying the three new models in each vehicle segment with the highest total car-shopper consideration from January 2014 through October 2014. “Consideration” means for each new vehicle model the number of unique visitors to the new car research and inventory pages on Edmunds.com’s desktop site for that model.
