The Capital Triumph Register is proud to announce that the 23rd annual Britain on the Green (BOG) will be held at historic Gunston Hall, the colonial home of patriot George Mason, in Lorton, VA, on April 26, 2020. BOG, which welcomes all British cars and motorcycles. is well-established as one of the premier all-British shows in the metropolitan DC area. *** Cancelled *** The Texas MG Register’s 2020 Spring Gathering of the Faithful, “Convoy to Killeen”, will be Thursday, May 6th- Sunday, May 10 in Killeen, TX. The host hotel is the Shilo Inn, 3701 South WS Young, Killeen, TX 76542, 254-699-0999. Registration for the “Convoy to Killeen” is now available at www.tmgr.org. On Thursday there will be a meet and greet reception, registration and the gathering in the parking lot around the cars. For early risers on Friday there will be a birding excursion. A caravan will take everyone to The Gin in Belton, TX for lunch. The afternoon will be dedicated to shopping in Killeen or swapping MG adventures. It is being held again at North Hills, where there is something for everyone. This is a wonderful opportunity to see more than 125 cars representing over 60 years of British motoring history. Come join us for great family fun we are sure you will have a wonderful experience and a fun filled Saturday. There will be the car show, regalia for sale, raffle prizes, and a 50/50 drawing. Car registration fee is $15 if in before May 18th and $18 the day of the Show. Registration is limited to the first 100 cars. Peoples Choice judging for numerous classes. The house and grounds are maintained by the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission. Cars & Motorcycles of England, along with the Delaware Valley Jaquars Concours, returns this year to Hope Lodge, a historic home used by Continental troops during the American Revolution. This in an all-British marque judged motorcar and motorcycle concours AND a nationally-sanction Jaguar concours d'Elegance. Car Corral and Autojumble will be available. *** Cancelled *** The 36th annual British Bash will once again be held on the tree-shaded lawn of the St. Joseph Children’s Home, 2823 Frankfort Avenue, Louisville, KY 40206. Registration opens at 9 AM, with trophies awarded around 3:30 PM. Each year we have approximately 150 – 200 participants. A variety of food trucks and vendors will be on hand. Visitors stroll through the rows of cars and listen to classic British music. |
