Our 17th annual show has a new venue! We searched hard to find the perfect place. A place where you and your family can enjoy the cars and much, much more! We are sure that we found it and hope you agree. Skippack Village, located on Route 73 just east of Route 113, is our new home. Our festival show field is in the center of town, surrounded by shops, boutiques, and crafters of all kinds. Enjoy a snack or grab lunch in the village, then stick around after the car show for dinner in one of the many restaurants – simple to high-end. The Philadelphia Concours d’Elegance is the one and only concours in the City of Brotherly Love. Begun in 2017 and becoming a staple in the tri-state car collector’s world- this display of cars is considered to be a can’t-miss event for every car enthusiast who also loves to contribute to a great cause. The Fifth Annual Philadelphia Concours d’Elegance will take place June 25th, 2022. The concours showcases an invitation-only assembly of American and European classic and historic automobiles and race cars. This year’s theme will be the “Celebration of the Snakes – Featuring the Ford Shelby Cobra and the Dodge Viper”. The day-long, fundraising event includes professional judging and awards presented for historical accuracy, technical merit, and style. This year’s classes are Open Cars, Closed Cars, Prewar Cars, Postwar Cars, Sports Cars, and Muscle Cars.
This joint convention of the Sports & Touring Club and the Austin Healey Club of America is set for September 18-23, 2022. We celebrate the 70th anniversary of the debut of the Austin Healey at the Earls Court Motor Show in London in 1952. Austin Healeys from across North America and from Great Britain will be attending this event. We have many exciting activities planned for this week-long get-together of Austin Healey enthusiasts.

The annual all-British car show held at a wooded park just south of Allentown attracts more than 200 cars from all over the mid-Atlantic. All makes of British cars and motorcycles, old and new, are welcome. Special awards are presented by our panel of judges. No popular vote judging — Just come to enjoy the cars and relax! Registration is $18 in advance by May 31, $25 at the gate. The field opens at 9 a.m., the show opens to spectators at 10 a.m. Food and drinks are available in the large picnic pavilion or bring your own, with music provided all day. The Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix is preparing to celebrate its 40th Anniversary in 2022. The event is honoring Porsche as their Marque of the Year and the Kastner Cup Triumph Race is coming to the PVGP Historics! The dates are set with Race Week starting July 15 at Pittsburgh International Race Complex for the PVGP Historics, followed by ten days of motorsport events culminating with the vintage races through Schenley Park on the July 23/24 weekend. Burton Morris is working on the poster for 2022 that will feature the Brumos Porsche 911. We can’t wait to see it! As part of its annual Independence Day celebration, Washington Crossing Historic Park invites classic car owners to compete in the third Rebels & Redcoats Classic Car Show on Saturday, July 3, 2021, from 10 AM to 2 PM. This unique show features only American, French, British and German cars, representing the four countries involved in the Revolutionary War. Classic show-condition cars from model years 1996 and earlier are welcome. The cost to register each car is $25 online (plus service fee) or $35 on-site. There is no fee to attend as a spectator. Check-in will begin at 9:00 AM and the show starts at 10:00 AM. Winners will be announced at 1:30 PM. First, second and third prizes will be awarded for each country of origin (America, France, Britain, Germany). These prizes will be determined by peer judging.
The Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix is ready to get “Back on Track” this year. The Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix, presented by the Greater Pittsburgh Automobile Dealers Foundation, is the nation’s only vintage street race and the largest vintage race event, spanning 10 days with two race weekends, car shows, parties, parades, and motorsport events. The Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix Association raises funds for autistic and IDD charities, donating $5.9 million since our founding in 1983. In addition to racing, the event has so many different car shows that they created an overview section on their website just to help everyone keep them straight! The Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix is a GO! Executive Director Dan DelBianco told us recently that it is definitely happening. The whole 10-day festival and the Historics at Pitt Race the weekend before. So British Car Day is also a definite go on July 24. You can now mark your calendar in ink. The 40th British Car Day, produced & sponsored by the Western Pennsylvania Triumph Association, will be held again this year in conjunction with the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix. In excess of 400 outstanding British cars and motorcycles are expected, and your participation will help Allegheny Valley School and the Pittsburgh Chapter of the National Autistic Society, the two local charities that benefit from the Vintage Grand Prix activities. The ABRR is based on UK Reliability Runs that benefit children’s charities in England. Begun in 2002 by Blake Discher of Detroit with help from John Macartney (In the Shadow of My Father, Turn Left at the Pacific), America’s British Reliability Run is a challenging, but fun, driving event that so far has raised more than $300,000 for worthy children’s charities. Carried on by the Delaware Valley Triumph Club of PA since 2008, the ABRR spirit is now spreading throughout the USA with multiple regional runs. The ABRR is not a race. The run is conducted on public roads at posted speeds. It is not a road rally either, as there are no checkpoints or deliberately vague and misleading instructions. The house and grounds are maintained by the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission. Cars & Motorcycles of England, along with the Delaware Valley Jaquars Concours, returns this year to Hope Lodge, a historic home used by Continental troops during the American Revolution. This in an all-British marque judged motorcar and motorcycle concours AND a nationally-sanction Jaguar concours d’Elegance. Car Corral and Autojumble will be available. The Simeone Museum’s February 23 Demo Day will feature driving demonstrations of five vintage British race cars: * 1921 Vauxhall 30/98E Velox Tourer * 1933 Squire Roadster * 1936 Aston Martin Le Mans * 1934 MG K3 Magnette * 1938 Jaguar 3.5 Litre SS100 The event begins with a brief lecture on each car’s importance and its place in history. Immediately after the lecture, each car is demonstrated outdoors in the parking lot in a controlled setting, weather permitting. (The event moves indoors in case of bad weather.) After the demonstration runs are complete, guests are allowed to see each car up close and take pictures. Admission is included as part of the regular General Admission price, and you don’t want to miss the annual “Best of Britain” exhibit that will be going on Feb. 10-March 3.
