Rolls-Royce Motor Cars London – Rolls-Royce’s flagship dealership – has hosted a spectacular evening to mark the launch of the all-new Phantom in the heart of Mayfair. Rolls-Royce is Britain’s most iconic motor car brand, and the Phantom has been its premier model since the first-generation car was released in 1925 – when it was judged as ‘The Best Car in the World’ by cognoscenti. As such, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars London based its launch evening around the theme “because the world needs icons”.
At the end of July, ‘The Great Eight Phantoms’, a Rolls-Royce Exhibition, will gather together the greatest Phantoms from the last 92 years in Mayfair, London. The Exhibition will welcome the next generation of this most celebrated luxury item. Over the next eight weeks, Rolls-Royce will announce which great Phantoms will journey to London from around the world, telling the stories of these motor cars and the historical events they witnessed. From its debut in 1925, a Rolls-Royce Phantom has stood as witness to history’s most defining moments, from treaty signings to occasions of state and the events that have defined the world we live in today.

Having opened a new facility in Goldhawk Road, West London this week, Nicholas Mee & Co says it is the first ever high-street, officially endorsed, Aston Martin Heritage showroom. The company was established 21 years ago and held a party to celebrate the opening, with guests including Aston Martin CEO Dr Ulrich Bez and Director of Works Service and Parts Operations, Kingsley Riding-Felce.
