Jaguar North America today announced the national marketing launch plans for the brand’s first-ever, all-electric performance SUV, the I-PACE, led by the Jaguar Electrifies Experience, a multi-city national tour that will kick off in San Francisco and travel to key U.S. EV markets: Los Angeles, South Florida and the New York City metro areas. The Jaguar Electrifies Experience is designed to engage, entertain, and educate consumers on the full Jaguar vehicle lineup as well as the benefits of owning an electric vehicle. In addition to the Experience, retailers will host launch events throughout the fall to introduce the Jaguar I-PACE to consumers across the country.
MG Motor UK has added five new partners to its dealer network as it continues to drive towards its goal of establishing a full national network of 120 sites by 2020. The latest additions to the MG network are Crayford & Abbs in north Norfolk, Thomas & Davies in Merthyr Tydfil, McMillan Motors in Greenock, Jermyn & Sons in Seaford, East Sussex and FG Barnes in Canterbury. All five sites joined MG’s rapidly-growing network in July, taking MG’s dealership network up to a total of 81 sites.
Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) has announced the appointment of Felix Bräutigam as Chief Marketing Officer and member of the Board of Management. Mr Bräutigam joins the business immediately but takes full responsibility on 1 January 2018, and reports directly to Dr Ralf Speth, Jaguar Land Rover Chief Executive Officer. Mr Bräutigam replaces Gerd Mäuser, who is retiring from the business at the end of the year but will continue as Chairman of Jaguar Racing to lead next season’s Formula E campaign.
G Motor UK is bringing the new MG GS to people nationwide as part of its regional test drive tour. The MG GS is over halfway through its tour of the country, where the MG team has been taking it to the public, in various locations, to give them the opportunity to have a drive and find out more about the newest addition. So far the MG GS has been to Glasgow, Newcastle, Manchester, Huntingdon and Maidstone. The MG team has had great feedback with many drivers expressing interest in purchasing then and there.
