Wheels Across The Pond is one of the premier British Classic Car and Motorcycle Shows in the state of Florida taking place on Easter Saturday each year at the beautiful Carlin Park in Jupiter. Our first show took place in 2007, and in 2016 we had an entry list consisting of 254 British and European Classic Cars and Bikes and thousands of spectators as well as local automotive dealers bringing us new models from Jaguar, Land Rover, Aston Martin, Rolls Royce, Bentley, MINI and Morgan. In 2009, we introduced a Euroclass which allows owners of European marques to join us at the show. THE PANHANDLE BRITISH CAR ASSOCIATION will present our 25th Pensacola British Car Show on April 21st-22nd, 2017, scheduled to be held at Seville Square park bordered by E.Government St, S.Alcaniz St, E.Zarragossa St. and S.Adams St, just two city blocks off E.Main St, and a short distance south-west of our previous location. Seville Square is a shaded park only a few feet from the beautiful waters of the Gulf of Mexico. It’s a lovely vacation or weekend paradise only walking distance to restaurants and shopping in the historic downtown Pensacola area. MG Jamboree 20 at the Magnuson Hotel Marina Cove in Saint Petersburg, FL and overlooks the Skyway Bridge on Tampa Bay. This laid-back, three-day, event is open to British vehicles and drivers of every make, model, and vintage in every condition. Hosted by the Florida Suncoast MG Car Club to celebrate the fellowship that is the British car community. Enjoy driving tours, tech sessions, picnics, vendor markets and, good food.  

The Key West British Car Club is holding its annual “Brits in Paradise” event in Key West April 25-29, 2017. This event coincides with the Conch Republic Independence Festival and our cars are featured in the Independence Parade down famous Duval Street. Other events include a Bocce Ball Tournament and a spirited Miniature Golf Tournament.

The Suncoast Classic MG Club will be hosting the 2017 GOF South.  It will be back at the Plantation on Crystal River, Crystal River, FL.

All car enthusiasts, with or without cabin fever, will gladly welcome SVRA’s Amelia Island Vintage Gran Prix race weekend, which takes place March 17-20, four days after the Amelia Island Concours d’ Elegance. With its emphasis on race cars and racing history, the Amelia Island Concours has come to have a huge following among racers, racing legends, and race car fans. It was a logical step, and a necessary one according to some, to add a vintage race to this already prestigious event. Ferman MINI of Tampa Bay and The Tampa Bay Austin Healey Club are sponsoring the 26th Annual All British Car Show and Autojumble. This event is being held on Saturday October 25 on Main Street in downtown Safety Harbor, FL, rain or shine. The All British Car Show is the biggest car show on the west coast of Florida dedicated to British cars and motorbikes. The event opens at 8:00 AM with all cars in position by 10:00. Awards will be presented at 2:30. The Beatles Tribute “Nowhere Band” will be in the bandstand, there is a silent auction, car accessory vendors, event regalia, and plenty of food and shopping in downtown Safety Harbor to make this a fun day for the family. The Amelia Island Concours D’Elegance, held March 12-15, once again presented an amazing collection of rare, exotic and highly-collectible cars.  There were a smattering of British marques represented at the Concours, with best in class winners of two pre-war Rolls-Royce, an Aston Martin DB4 and gorgeous 1947 Bentley coupe.   The real British-action, however, was experienced in the high-end auctions of Gooding’s and Bonham’s.  So while affordability is in the eye of the beholder, there were several tempting offerings, like a driver-quality 1968 jaguar XKE coupe for $44,000, and a pristine 1952 MG TD for $29,000.  After those, however, the appreciation curve shot upward, with an unbelievably original 1965 XKE Series 1 4.2 coupe going for $200,000 and a similarly original 1961 E-Type Roadster hitting $380,000.  And in the I’ve-never-seen-one-of-those-before, a 1951 Lotus, claimed to be the very first road-worthy […]

The Classic MG Club of Orlando invites MG lovers everywhere to Gathering of the Faithful South XLIX from April 17-19, 2015 at the historic Mission Inn in “Old Florida” Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida. Gear-heads of all brands are welcome to walk around and see over 100 MGs on display. “Gathering of the Faithful” (GoF) was coined in 1965 by the late Frank Churchill of the New England MG T Register as an event for MG owners to gather and meet other faithful MG owners.
