McLaren, the British creator of luxury sports and supercars, has confirmed that the next model to be introduced under its Track22 business plan will be an addition to the Ultimate Series. Its mission is to be the most extreme, track-concentrated road car McLaren has yet designed. To be publicly revealed in the first quarter of 2018, it will be delivered ahead of a second future Ultimate Series model codenamed BP23 which aims to be the world’s first Hyper-GT. As members of the McLaren Ultimate Series, both will be produced in very limited numbers and all examples are already assigned. TVR is pleased to announce that after a successful launch at the Goodwood Revival last month, the new TVR Griffith will be on display at the NEC Classic Motor Show in Birmingham on 10-12th November 2017. Dyson, the British engineering company best known for its vacuum cleaners and fans, plans to spend £2.5bn developing a “radical” electric car. The battery-powered vehicle is due to be launched in 2020.

Chinese-owned British brand MG has revealed a replacement for its eight-year-old rival for the Toyota Corolla, the MG 6. Sold in Australia as the MG 6 Plus in three hatchback variants priced from $21,990, the original MG 6 was part of MG’s local rebirth last year, when it also launched the MG 3 light hatch, followed this year by the GS mid-size SUV.

Jaguar’s new E-PACE performance SUV plays in the city in a series of ‘warped reality’ pictures by digital artist Chris Labrooy. The artwork celebrates the North American launch of Jaguar’s new compact performance SUV. Inspired by the car’s playful character and its record-breaking barrel-roll reveal, Labrooy puts the E-PACE into a series of unlikely locations and scenarios. The ‘Transposition’ series of images revealed today features Detroit, famed for its automotive heritage and the location of the E-PACE’s US debut today.

A limited number of bespoke McLaren 570GT models will this month become available to a fortunate few McLaren buyers in the UK and Europe. Commissioned from McLaren Special Operations as an MSO Collection, the six cars are finished in McLaren historic ‘XP Green’ exterior paint – the same color as the famous F1 XP GT ‘Longtail’ homologation model built in 1997. Caterham was in high spirits at the Goodwood Revival last week, as all 60 of its new, retro racer Seven SuperSprint sold out within an incredible seven hours. The SuperSprint, the second retro Seven unveiled in the last 12 months to mark the Seven’s 60th anniversary year, can now lay claim to be the fastest-selling model in Caterham’s history.

Caterham has unveiled the new, limited edition Seven SuperSprint at this weekend’s Goodwood Revival as part of its 60th-anniversary celebrations. Reflecting the anniversary, 60 SuperSprints destined for the UK and European markets go on sale today, completing the pair of special models that have topped and tailed the anniversary year. The similarly retro Seven Sprint was launched at the same event 12 months ago, with all 60 cars sold within a week, quickly becoming the fastest selling Caterham Seven to date.

Welcoming a new era in its history, TVR has unveiled its all new sports car, the TVR Griffith, at the Goodwood Revival. Revealed to media and visitors, the Griffith is the first new TVR to be launched since the company was resurrected in British hands. The new Griffith stays true to the brand’s rich heritage while employing cutting-edge engineering. The exterior has been designed to be as striking as it is aerodynamically efficient. The timeless sports car silhouette is accented with deep air intakes, generating high levels of downforce and cooling.

Following the stunning debut of the Lotus Evora GT430, Lotus has introduced an expanded Evora GT430 line-up designed to appeal to a wider range of customers who want the ultimate in high-performance sports cars.
