Bentley early careers applications for the 2027 programme are now open, with more than 90 roles available as the marque invests in the skills and expertise needed to support an expanding product portfolio following the reveal of Torcal, its first fully electric model and fourth model line.
The intake spans 29 Apprenticeships, 15 Graduate roles and 49 Industrial Placements, with positions across research and development, manufacturing, IT, and sales and marketing at the company’s Crewe headquarters.
“The next era of Bentley will be defined as much by our people as by our products and technologies,” said Dr. Karen Lange, Member of the Board for People and Culture. “As Torcal expands our product portfolio and begins a new chapter for Bentley, we need to continue developing the skills and expertise to support that growth. Our early careers programme brings fresh perspectives into the business and gives young talent the opportunity to grow throughout their time with Bentley.”

Building the next generation of Bentley talent
Bentley’s structured early careers programmes have run for more than 40 years. Apprenticeships combine paid work with study towards qualifications up to degree level, giving trainees hands-on experience across the business. The two-year Graduate programme offers experience in a range of departments, while 12-month Industrial Placements give university students practical experience in their chosen field.
Rebecca Scott-Davies, a current Graduate who joined Bentley through an Industrial Placement, said: “One of the things I’ve enjoyed most about Bentley is that you’re encouraged to contribute from day one. Whether it’s improving a process, supporting colleagues, or helping shape the early careers experience, your ideas are genuinely listened to. It’s rewarding to see something you’ve identified turn into a real improvement, and that’s given me the confidence to keep challenging myself and making a positive impact wherever I can.”

Part of a wider transformation at Crewe
The investment in early careers comes as Bentley’s £350 million transformation of its Crewe headquarters nears completion. The project, part of the company’s Beyond100+ strategy, will turn the Pyms Lane site into a digital, flexible and high-value manufacturing campus as Bentley prepares for an electric future, with Torcal, revealed earlier this month, set to become the brand’s first fully electric model and its fourth model line.
To support applications, Bentley has also launched a new careers website, making it easier for candidates to explore roles and apply. Graduate and Industrial Placement applications for the 2027 programme opened on 12 October, with Industrial Placement applications running until 23 October 2026; Apprenticeship opportunities follow in February 2027.
