Many respected media outlets including the New York Times recently published articles about 2016 new cars being too expensive for the average family. One Welsh family demonstrated that it’s still possible to find a great deal on a new car. And when you do, you should grab it when you can. And, that’s what they did. Four times!
The story begins with a young woman’s quest for a new car. While shopping for a car with her parents, they happened to hear a radio advert for MG Motors at Nathaniel Car Sales Ltd in South Wales. Intrigued by the advert, the family headed over to the source.
After a test drive, Danielle Shearing (nee Dyer) began signing the paperwork for her new MG3. BBC’s Top Gear says this about MG Motors MG3: “The steering is direct, there’s loads of grip and good body control – this thing is a hoot to drive.”
“I absolutely love my MG3! It’s the first new car I’ve owned and it’s really great. What’s so good about it is the affordability, when Nathan at Nathaniels worked up the quote for me I was shocked but so happy that I could afford it,” said Danielle.
Danielle’s mother, Kath Dyer, was impressed with the MG3 and was soon signing papers alongside her daughter for her very own new car. Kath Dyer is a Senior Sister at Cardiff’s Heath Hospital and a major in the Army Reserves who served two tours in Afghanistan in 2008 and 2012. It didn’t take long for a third new MG3 to join the others in the driveway. Kayleigh Dyer decided she too wanted a new MG3.
Not wanting to be left out completely, Danielle’s dad joined the family with his new MG Motors car. However, he opted for the MG6 rather than the MG3s the rest of the family drives. You might say he’s a rebel!
The new car purchases set a unique record for MG Motors. Matthew Cheyne, Head of Sales and Marketing for MG, said: “As far as we’re aware, this is the most new MGs in one household. This fantastic story certainly reinforces our affordable family fun message.”
The staff at Nathaniel Car Sales Ltd loves that we can be part of a message of hope and value even when the economy isn’t as strong as we would all like it to be. Nathaniel Car Sales has been serving the families of South Wales for over 30 years. This will always be one of the experiences that we treasure.
