The Headwaters British Car Club was originally formed in the fall of 2008 by a small group of British car enthusiasts who live in the Orangeville, Ontario, Canada area. The main purpose of the club is to provide a social framework where local  British Car Enthusiasts can come together to enjoy all aspects of their British vehicles. The members feel very privileged to enjoy their cars, and a way of giving back to the community is in the form of support for local charitable institutions. This Fourth Annual event is a fundraiser for Community Living Dufferin. Be our guests in Port Perry on the weekend of August 12 & 13th, 2017 for the fabulous Brits on the Lake Classic Motoring Revival. It is the British motor event with a heart! This year BRITS ON THE LAKE Classic Motoring Revival provides special recognition to three great British marques, Jaguar, Lotus and Triumph.  These companies have supplied enthusiasts with exhilarating cars, the stuff of which both dreams and fond memories are made.  Sadly, Triumph cars are no longer produced but Jaguar and Lotus Cars continue to sell in markets around the world. The Ancaster British Car Flea Market and Car Show is held on the second last Sunday in April at the Ancaster Fairgrounds, at the intersection of Hwy 2&53 (Wilson St) and Hwy 52 (Trinity Rd). This annual event is Southern Ontario’s largest British car parts flea market featuring both used and new parts for all types of British cars. However, you do not need to be a member of a car club to participate. Over the years, they have even had visitors from Alberta, Saskatchewan, Texas, the UK, and New Zealand.

There’s something charming about a bright red restored 1970 MGB cruising down Airport Road on a sunny summer day with the top down. And there’s even more charm in a dozen or more similar cars, MGs, Triumphs, Jaguars and Austin Healeys, all manner of colors making the same trip. British car enthusiasts gathered more than a dozen times in 2009 in the first year of events for the new Headwaters British Car Club. Club vice president Tom Hodgson said the club is based in Orangeville but has members from all over, including one from Alliston. “We opened it up to all older British cars,” Hodgson said. “We go out for a couple of hours, have a run, enjoy the countryside.
