InMotion Ventures, Jaguar Land Rover’s venture capital arm, today announced its investment in FATMAP, the leading platform for outdoor adventure lovers and mountain professionals with cutting-edge global 3D mapping technology. The investment from InMotion Ventures, along with Episode 1 and Capnamic Ventures, will support FATMAP with their global ambition to become a key destination for adventure and outdoor activities. Skiers, hikers, trail-runners, mountain-bikers, and climbers can all use FATMAP technology to navigate the off-road world more easily.
InMotion, Jaguar Land Rover’s mobility services business, today announced a $25m (£19m) investment in Lyft, the fastest-growing rideshare company in the U.S. This investment will support Lyft’s expansion and technology plans. It will also provide Jaguar Land Rover’s InMotion Ventures with the opportunity to develop and test its mobility services, including autonomous vehicles, and to supply Lyft drivers with a fleet of Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles.
