Great Western Classic Car Show, UK

British Motor Museum Banbury Road, Gaydon, Warwickshire, United KingdomJoin us to celebrate 70 years of the iconic Land Rover marque with a huge range of models from 1948 to the present day. Every aspect of Land Rover is packed into this weekend Show including celebrating 50 years of the Lightweight Land Rover. Diana Tigwell, the renowned compere and commentator, along with other special guests will be providing arena commentary throughout the Show and talking to owners to share the stories behind their Land Rovers. The Show aims to highlight the history of Land Rover's development and will feature vehicles from rival brands such as the Austin Champ and Austin Gipsy. Drive It Day – UK
UK , United KingdomDrive it Day is the Historic Vehicle Movement’s National Awareness Day and falls this year, on Sunday 24th April 2022. As well as raising awareness and support for the future of the historic vehicle movement by getting our transport heritage visible on the UK roads altogether for one special day, the event also raises money for NSPCC's Childline. National Drive It Day was created by the Federation of British Historic Vehicle Clubs in 2005. It is the occasion when historic vehicle enthusiasts and the public at large have the opportunity to celebrate the One Thousand Mile Trial organized in 1900 to prove the viability of the new invention, the motor vehicle.
