15th Annual Kastner Cup
Blackhawk Farms Raceway 5538 Prairie Rd, South Beloit, IL, United StatesThe 15th iteration of this great event will be hosted as the featured event at the 2017 VSCDA (Vintage Sports Car Drivers Association) Blackhawk Classic at Blackhawk Farms Raceway in Rockton, IL on June 16-18, 2017. The track is perfect for small bore production racing and the spectating is simply second to none. There is nowhere on the track that can't be accessed for watching close racing action trackside, plus there is an observation deck where seven corners can be seen from a perch in the middle of the paddock. Vintage Triumph Register National Convention 2017

The planning committee is working on many great back-road drives that are abundant in the area. Kastner Cup 2018 at the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix
Pittsburgh International Race Complex 201 Penndale Road, Wampum, PA, United StatesThe 2018 Kastner Cup will be contested at the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix Historics at Pittsburgh International Race Complex in Beaver, Pa., July 6-8. Triumphs will run within their respective race groups with other sports cars throughout the weekend and the Kastner Cup will be a dedicated 40-minute all-Triumph race July 7 at approximately 4 p.m. https://youtu.be/uDvAKEAmA24 The PVGP Historics started in 2004 and have grown over the past decade into a vintage race event that stands alone. Pittsburgh International Race Complex is the ideal venue for racing Triumphs. This purpose-built track, 40 miles northwest of Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh International Race Complex expanded the track in 2015, adding 1.2 mile that stretches the entire circuit out to 2.8 heart pounding miles.

It is open to anyone who has a Triumph automobile and wishes to attend. People from as far away as Canada or the East Coast have attended. This year, the San Diego Club is hosting the event and will be holding it in San Diego at the Dana Resort in Mission Bay. This is a beautiful resort with plenty of amenities. Many activities are scheduled, and it is a fun way to say hello to all your Triumph friends near and far.

This was not an easy decision for those of us in Miami Valley Triumphs who have spent countless hours and club funds in planning TRA 2020 only to have to postpone it to 2021 in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic. We want those of you who planned or were interested in attending to have some background on why this decision was made.
