    The Triumph Club of the Carolinas will be hosting The Gathering in April, 2016. The Gathering is the largest British Car Show in the Southeast. Held in Dobson, North Carolina at Shelton Vineyards, one of the nicest show venues you will ever see. Stroll around the beautiful grounds of the largest family-owned estate winery in North Carolina, while enjoying the sight of great British cars of all marques! Last year, over 300 cars attended representing over 10 varying marques! For lunch, you can bring a picnic or, better yet, sample the wonderful faire offered by Shelton's Harvest Grill Restaurant.     The 2016 Highlands Motoring Festival with many of the popular events from previous years.     This is the twenty-first anniversary of the North Carolina MG Car Club’s Triangle British Classic Car Show. It is being held again at North Hills, where there is something for everyone. This is a wonderful opportunity to see more than 125 cars representing over 60 years of British motoring history. Come join us for great family fun we are sure you will have a wonderful experience and a fun-filled Saturday. There will be the car show, regalia for sale, raffle prizes, and a 50/50 drawing, and a Hot Wheels race for the children. There is no charge for spectators, who can also vote for their favorite car. Pick up a spectators ballot at the voting booth beside the Regalia table. The cost is $30 for the first car and $15 for each additional car.

    The meet always includes multiple Jensen Interceptors and Jensen-Healeys in all their various iterations and will often include the less common Jensen GT plus occasionally some real Jensen rarities such as FFs, CV-8s, 541s and other surprises. Cars without Jensen Motors badges but a shared history at the West Bromwich factory such as the Volvo P1800 and Sunbeam Alpine/Tiger are welcomed and have attended previously. And what the heck; we have often had a Triumph Spitfire join us and we've even had a vintage Citroën SM in attendance, so one would be hard-pressed to say that we are not an inclusive group!     The Triumph Club of the Carolinas is proud to host this year's TRA national in Blowing Rock, NC at Chetola Lodge. Wonderful scenic drives along the Blue Ridge Parkway, Breakfast runs, a Funkhana as well as a concours and participants choice car show. The scenic NC High Couty in the Blue Ridge Mountains is the perfect setting for a TRA National Meet. There are a number of scheduled activities including a Blue Ridge Parkway Tour, Poker Run, two Breakfast Runs, a Funkhana, Welcome Mixer, Welcome Reception, Membership Meeting, Judges School, Auction, Art and Craft Competition, and 50/50 Raffle. But there is also plenty of free time for you to explore on your own or do some of the self-guided tours the host club has created.
