The Boca Raton Concours d’Elegance is the fastest growing Concours in the nation and the world’s largest for a charity-organized event. The Concours kicks off on Friday night with a Private VIP Reception. On Saturday night, we will have a Gala Dinner & Show so extraordinary that it will set the standards for all Gala events to come. Then on Sunday, the main event takes place, as an expert panel judges a selection of the finest automobiles and motorcycles ever built. Since 1997 the Chicagoland MG Club swap meet has been held at the DuPage County Fairgrounds in Wheaton, Illinois in early spring. The site is an indoor heated facility that is centrally located approximately 30 miles due west of downtown Chicago. There will be a food vendor on-site and an ATM in the building. We have reserved our usual date and buildings in the expectation that Covid related group restrictions will not preclude it. At this time, a requirement for indoor masking is the only restriction in effect at our site. However, due to the continuing uncertainty of restrictions for group gatherings, vendors and shoppers alike should monitor this site for any updates as to whether or not we will be able to conduct the Swap on March 27, 2022. The 10th Annual Tartan Day South Celebration is a four-day event honoring Celtic heritage in our area. The festival is an array of different events at many different venues featuring unique sports; incredible music; great foods; and interesting, interactive exhibitions. Nearly 85,000 patrons have attended Tartan Day South events since 2011. |
