MGVR 2018 Focus Event at VARAC Vintage Grand Prix
Canadian Tire Motorsport Park 3233 Concession Rd 10, BowmanvilleThe MG Vintage Racers (MGVR) have selected VARAC’s “Vintage Grand Prix” at the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park in Ontario, Canada, (Northeast of Toronto) the weekend of June 14-17 for our 2018 “Focus Event”. A “Focus Event” is an annual MGVR designated race weekend where all MG racers (and MG supporters) are encouraged to attend. It is complimented by including MG races and a variety of MG social activities and awards, including the Canadian “Simms Cup” for MGs. A large turnout of MGs will be racing, along with many other great vintage race cars! The tentative schedule calls for three days of racing - including “All-MG Races” and a “MG-Triumph Challenge Race”! Port Royal Golf Club 10 Clubhouse Drive, Hilton HeadThe Hilton Head Island Motoring Festival & Concours d’Elegance will celebrate its 16th year in the fall of 2017. The Festival kicks off with the Savannah Speed Classic, October 27 – 29, on the Grand Prize of America road course situated on the property of The Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort & Spa in Savannah, Georgia. The festivities continue on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, November 3 - 5, at the Port Royal Golf Club, where the Concours d’Elegance (Nov. 5) takes center stage.
British Car Day at Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix
Schenley Park PittsburghOne of the highlights of Grand Prix Race Weekend in Schenley Park is British Car Day, sponsored by the Western Pennsylvania Triumph Association (WPTA). It features over 500 of England’s best sport and luxury automobiles. 2017 will mark the 37th year of this great event and the 31st year that it has taken place in conjunction with the PVGP in Schenley Park. During that time the WPTA has raised $144,000 for the Grand Prix charities! Located in the middle of the golf course it is the anchor of our International Car Show. British Car Day is the largest annual British-only car show in Pennsylvania whose proceeds have always been contributed to charity.
