40th Annual “MGs On the Rocks” British Car Show & Parts Market
Rocks State Park 2 Cherry Hill Road, Street, MD, United StatesThe 40th Annual edition of one of the longest running British Car Shows in the USA promises to be a great event, we are expecting over 200 cars with MGs of all models and 8 classes of other British Marques. Popular vote balloting by the car owners is from 10:00 until 1:00 and awards are given out about 3:00 p.m. Winners, chosen by car owner peers, receive awards at their cars as the crowd walks around the show field at the end. 2020 Portland All British Field Meet Celebrating 44 Years
Portland International Raceway 1940 N Victory Blvd, Portland, OR, United StatesBring Your British cars and motorcycles. Join OVER 800 other British vehicle owners and share your interests with other enthusiasts. Replica cars made in England with British components (e.g. Panther) and specialty cars with British chassis and running gear (e.g. Arkley) are welcome, as are British bodied cars with American engines, including conversions. The weekend kicks off with the Friday Night Welcome Party, followed by the Saturday Car Show, Guided Walking Tours, Giant Slalom competition, People's Choice balloting, LIVE Musical Performances, Arts Display Contest, Scavenger Hunt for the Kiddos, Best in Show designation and Land Rover Adventure Rides. This is a show for the pleasure and company of others who share your interest in vintage British machinery. Judging is by popular vote of your peers, each of whom has a vehicle entered in the show. Each entrant receives one ballot and may cast one vote per class. There have been over 35 classes at past shows and classes will again be determined by preregistered vehicles. Chicagoland 25th Annual All Sports Car Swap Meet and Autojumble
DuPage County Fairgrounds 2015 Manchester Rd, Wheaton, IL, United StatesSince 1997 the Chicagoland MG Club swap meet has been held at the DuPage County Fairgrounds in Wheaton, Illinois in early spring. The site is an indoor heated facility that is centrally located approximately 30 miles due west of downtown Chicago. There will be a food vendor on-site and an ATM in the building. We have reserved our usual date and buildings in the expectation that Covid related group restrictions will not preclude it. At this time, a requirement for indoor masking is the only restriction in effect at our site. However, due to the continuing uncertainty of restrictions for group gatherings, vendors and shoppers alike should monitor this site for any updates as to whether or not we will be able to conduct the Swap on March 27, 2022. All British marques ( cars and motorcycles) are welcome. An area will be set aside for an Auto Jumble (Swap Meet) USED AUTO PARTS ONLY! Spaces are the same price as show entries. Commercial vendors $100 per space. MUST PRE REGISTER BY MARCH 25. There will be food, music, and general merriment. ADMISSION IS FREE FOR SPECTATORS.
