2018 Portland All British Field Meet Celebrating 42 Years

Connecticut British Reliability Run
GMT Racing 16 Commerce Drive, Newtown, CT, United StatesThe Connecticut Triumph Register in conjunction with the CT MG club is proud to present the first Connecticut British Reliability Run. The event is scheduled for September 14-16, 2018. The goal is to field 24 British cars/teams and raise funds to benefit The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp. The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp was founded by Paul Newman. This organization is dedicated to providing “a different kind of healing” to seriously ill children and their families throughout the northeast, free of charge. The event will begin at GMT Racing in Newtown, CT, run through the Adirondacks over the weekend and will end at Lime Rock Park in Lime Rock, CT with a cookout. It will be a great fall drive through the beautiful countryside in the company of fellow British car friends.

Colorado English Motoring Conclave 2018
Oak Park 10425 W. 64th Place, Arvada, CO, United StatesConceived by a group of British car and motorcycle clubs in the Denver area, the first Colorado English Motoring Conclave was held in the summer of 1983. Every September since then many hundreds of classic and collector cars and their owners have gathered at the Conclave to celebrate the operation, preservation, and owner participation of the great British automobile marques. Now in its 35th year, the 2018 Conclave will be held over the weekend of the 15-16th of September. The weekend begins on Saturday the 15th with “Ride the Rockies” motoring tour which starts from Oak Park in Arvada, and is followed by the All British English Motoring Conclave Car Show, which will be also be held in the now familiar location of Oak Park, on Sunday the 16th. 2018 Land Rover National Rally – Utah
Moab Utah Moab, UT, United StatesPlease join Solihull Society in Moab, UT to celebrate the 70th Anniversary of Land Rover at the 30th Annual Land Rover National Rally. September 17-21st 2018. This year the Solihull Society is introducing a reduced fee for early registrations. All attendees that pay for their full registration in full prior to August 15th receive this reduced rate. Registrations paid for after 15 August will be at the slightly higher rate. Online registration will be closed on September 15th to allow for ordering of T-Shirts and meals. 25th Annual British Car Week
Planet Earth , United StatesThis year marks the 25th British Car Week, first initiated when Mr. Peter Egan published his classic story in his Side Glances column, titled "Seldom Seen Cars" in the March 1997 edition of Road & Track magazine. In his story, he shared his then-recent thoughts about reminiscing in the dentist's chair with his mouth full of gauze. After all, what else is there to do? He was thinking about what has happened to all of the old cars he used to enjoy seeing on the roads in his local town. He thought about the times when he would regularly see classic marques such as Morgan, MG, Jaguar, Porsche, Triumph, and even the likes of an old Woodie Wagon on the streets of his community. The Great Race 2021 – Texas to South Carolina
San Antonio, Texas San Antonio, TX, United StatesThe Great Race is an antique, vintage, and collector car competitive controlled-speed endurance road rally on public highways. It is not a test of top speed. It is a test of a driver/navigator team's ability to follow precise course instructions and the cars (and teams) ability to endure on a cross-country trip. The course instructions require the competing teams to drive at or below the posted speed limits at all times. Each day the driver and navigator team receives a set of course instructions that indicate every turn, speed change, stop, and start that the team must make throughout the day (usually 220 to 250 such instructions per day).
