  • Britain on the Green – Virginia

    More than 200 British cars expected for the 22nd annual Britain on the Green British car show, located south of Alexandria, Va., at Gunston Hall, the historic plantation home of colonial statesman George Mason. The show is open to all British cars and motorcycles and features a food truck alley, a sponsor/vendor midway, and children’s activities. Participants’ Choice awards will be made in 25 or more classes, and there will be a number of special awards also, including Best Resto-Mod, Best Survivor, Best Display, and Best of Show. The show also takes part in the Hagerty Youth Judging Program, in which the next generation of British car drivers pick their favorites.     First big British car show of the driving season in the Mid-Atlantic area. Door prizes, swap meet, vendors, car corral, tech sessions.     Cars and Motorcycles of England returns again to the historic Hope Lodge in 2019, featuring an all-British marque judged motorcar and motorcycle Concours, and a nationally sanctioned Jaguar Concours d'Elegance. The combined show fields represent one of the largest British motoring shows on the East Coast with over 250 cars and motorcycles participating in each of the last four years.
