The Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix is preparing to celebrate its 40th Anniversary in 2022. The event is honoring Porsche as their Marque of the Year and the Kastner Cup Triumph Race is coming to the PVGP Historics! The dates are set with Race Week starting July 15 at Pittsburgh International Race Complex for the PVGP Historics, followed by ten days of motorsport events culminating with the vintage races through Schenley Park on the July 23/24 weekend. Burton Morris is working on the poster for 2022 that will feature the Brumos Porsche 911. We can’t wait to see it! 37th Annual Dayton British Car Day. Honoring the 60th anniversary of the MGB & Triumph Spitfire Saturday, August 6, 2022, from 9 am to 4 pm Eastwood MetroPark 1385 Harshman Rd. Dayton, Ohio Presented by MG Car Club Southwestern Ohio Centre & the Miami Valley Triumphs Participant's choice car show featuring 28 classes, vendors & swap meet, full-service concession stand, dash plaques to first 200 entrants, and as always, spectators are admitted for free. Cars are displayed on the tree-lined field at Eastwood Metropark. Registration: $20 in advance includes free BCD t-shirt if received before July 23, 2022; $20 day of the show Vendors $25, T-shirts $15 Registration is open from 9 am until Noon. The show, in its 23rd year, features just sports cars - no hot rods, trucks, or back seat vehicles. We average 100 vehicles from all over the world. The MGB is our featured marque this year.... A road rally is held on Saturday, with a BYO picnic to follow. Sunday is the show, with music and food trucks. Awards around 2:30 pm Come, join us! |

The Vintage Triumph Register (VTR) is a North American Triumph car club of over 2,800 Triumph owners and enthusiasts supporting and showcasing all models of Triumphs. The 2022 convention will be hosted by the Illinois Sports Owner Association (ISOA), one of the largest and most active Triumph clubs in the country. Compete in an autocross challenge, participate in a funkhana event, drive in a road rallye on our carefully selected back roads, and even learn about your car in our expert-led technical sessions. However you choose to spend your week, you'll get to enjoy it in the company of great people who are just as Triumph-crazy as you are. See you in Galena! |
