Encounter 2020 is an event open to all autos produced by Donald Healey, including Healeys, Austin Healeys, Nash Healeys Jensen Healeys and others. This 3+ day event includes a car show, road rallye, gymkhana, funkhana, tech sessions, hospitality room and an awards banquet. Make plans to attend now. *** Rescheduled *** The 25th Red Mill British Car Day at the historic Red Mill Museum Village has space for a display of 100 British cars and motorcycles. Award classes will be determined by make and model of vehicles registered. There will also be a picnic basket competition. Pre-registration strongly encouraged, as there is only space for 100 vehicles. (All vehicles MUST be pre-registered. No cars accepted day of show.) *** Cancelled *** 2021 Event will be October 2, 2021 "Myrtle Beach Britfest 2020” Car Show will be held on Saturday, Oct. 3, 2020, at The Market Common, Johnson & Hendrick Ave., Myrtle Beach, SC. Come and enjoy a British car extravaganza and celebrate Octoberfest in the balmy warmth of autumn at the beach. Dash Plaques will be given to all early registration entrants and will be available for most late and “day-of” registrations. Award Plaques or Trophies will be presented to winners in each class. A Special Award for the entry with the “Best Picnic Presentation” will be given. And back by popular demand will be a “English Tea” featuring a contest for the “Best Hat”. The Time Trials and the High Jinks Rallye will be conducted on both Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 17 and 18, while the Concours d'Elegance is scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 18. Promoting and Preserving Classic British Cars Since 1990 The date for the 2020 BCF has been set for Saturday, October 24th. Entry fees are as follows: • $25.00 if entry is received before October 16th. • $30.00 if received after October 16th. • Additional cars $15.00 each As a reminder to all, the South Alabama British Car Club will operate within State guidelines regarding the COVID-19 pandemic. We will take all precautions necessary. We ask that all Visitors and Exhibitors wear masks and practice social distancing.
