British Motor Show 2021 Searching for UK’s Greatest Car Geek

If you know your Austins from your Astons and can identify an obscure motor from its fuel filler cap alone, then The British Motor Show has just the game for you!

Car geeks assemble – The British Motor Show sets out to find the UK’s biggest car brain

Over the four days of the show, the organizers will be setting out to find Britain’s Biggest Car Brain, with live interactive quiz sessions in which the UK’s top car nerds will go head-to-head to out-geek each other.

To take part head over to the show’s official website here and have a go at the online quiz. But be warned, it is not easy. You need to be up on the cars used in Britain both old and new.

The competition will see entrants whittled-down via a series of monthly online quizzes, with monthly winners invited to participate in the live semi-finals at the show, from the 19th to 22nd of August 2021. After a final round of heats at the show, one eventual finalist will be crowned Britain’s Biggest Car Brain 2021 before going up against a team of established motoring celebrities and journalists for fun.

During the show, the top entrants will be selected to take part in a live on-stage nerd-off at the show, against our celebrity panel including Fuzz Townshend, Tim Shaw, Vicky Butler-Henderson, and a team of established motoring journalists to determine who really is the nation’s most trivia-charged petrolhead.

The winner will receive what’s sure to become one of the car industry’s most coveted trophies, while all finalists will be presented with a British Motor Sow goodie bag.

Andy Entwistle, British Motor Show CEO, said: “All of us involved in putting on Britain’s brightest, biggest and most action-packed motor show are petrolheads ourselves, so what better wat to celebrate our nation’s love of cars than to test our collective car knowledge and find the one car geek who outshines the rest. If I could enter it myself, I’d love to challenge for the title!
