You are cordially invited to join the members of The British Car Club of Charleston, South Carolina as they celebrate 100 Years of MG on the weekend of 20-21 October 2023. The festivities will commence on Friday with a picnic or a delightful midday Authentic British Tea at Edisto Hall at James Island County Park. Next, you can take your car on a tour of the scenic low country of South Carolina ending at Deep Water Vineyard. Friday will end with an evening Welcome Reception. The highlight of Saturday’s events will be the Club’s 38th Annual British Car Show, featuring a special showcase of MGs that will trace the evolution of this legendary marque. Don’t miss this unforgettable celebration!

Myrtle Beach BRITFEST 2023 will be held at The Market Common at the corner of Johnson and Hendrick Avenues in beautiful Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, rain or shine, on Saturday, October 7, 2023. Myrtle Beach BRITFEST is the area’s largest British car show, with room for British cars and motorcycles of every kind!

For all Mini lovers the next CCA auction on December 10th offers a ‘Mini’ feast in time for Christmas! The line-up is led by this 1969 Mini Cooper 1275S MKII, ex-Liverpool Police car, a case of fast Coppers in a fast Cooper, having previously been used to keep the peace in Knotty Ash in 1969.

Please join the members of the Villages British Motoring Club for our first all-British car show. Located within the mock Victorian town center of Lake Sumter Landing, the car show will include a variety of awards, British car-related vendors, photographs of James Bond (Daniel Craig impersonator) behind the wheel of your car, and the possibility of winning an oil painting of your car. Ask our Brit car expert your most difficult mechanical question. The British Festival includes British music, dancing, food, and other vendors. This type of activity in The Villages usually attracts 3,000 to 12,000 attendees. Check-in, socializing with other show participants, and a lunch buffet at the elegant Waterfront Inn will commence at noon. At least the MG Cyberster EV Roadster is due to be unveiled in 2023. April of 2023 to be more precise. MG is on track to unveil its ‘Project E’ two-seat electric roadster in April next year ahead of its first UK deliveries in the first half of 2024, an MG Motor UK spokesperson has said. The production car “will be a game-changer in terms of perception of the brand,” MG UK commercial director Guy Pigounakis told Autocar at a recent event. The car will be available in either two-wheel drive – most likely rear-wheel drive – or as a “very high-performance” all-wheel-drive dual-motor version.
