The Williamsburg British Car Club held it 19th annual British and European Car Show on April 14, 2018. It was a beautiful, 80 degree spring day with a constant breeze. This year our featured marque was the Daimler since The Daimler and Lanchester Owners Club of North America was celebrating their 40th anniversary in Williamsburg. This year’s show was held at the Shops at High Street which provided a large paved area for the cars and an ample grassy area adjacent to the field. This was a particularly nice venue for the owners of yellow cars who are constantly plagued by bugs on grassy fields. Six restaurants are within easy walking distance and were extremely generous allowing the use of all of their facilities. We hosted 21 classes with 155 beautifully restored and maintained cars. Preregistration must be received by April 8, 2017. All registered cars will be placed in a class for judging and award purposes. Cars must be parked with their assigned class to be eligible for awards. No trailers will be allowed on the show field. Display cars must be driven onto the show field under their own power. Classes will be determined by preregistered entries. This is a Popular Vote car show. Judging and balloting will be conducted by the registrants. The number of preregistered cars in each class will determine how many trophies will be awarded in each class. This is a rain or shine show. A portion of the proceeds will be given to Hospice. Door prizes will be awarded and there will be a 50-50 raffle. Featured Marque: MGC & C-GT, 50th
Open the 2016 car show season and visit beautiful Colonial Williamsburg Virginia for the 17th Annual Williamsburg British Car Club British and European Car Show at Chickahominy Riverfront Park next to the intersection of the James and Chickahominy Rivers. Camping available thru James City County. Hours 9 AM to 3 PM Saturday. Awards at 2 PM. Admission is $25 at show, $20 pre-registration due April 1st, spectators free. Come out and see over 150 British & European vehicles on display, automotive & food vendors, door prizes, 50-50 charity raffle. Featured marque is the Morgan 4/4, 4-4 & 4+ to commemorate the introduction of the Morgan 4 wheeler in 1936.
