37th Annual Dayton British Car Day. Honoring the 60th anniversary of the MGB & Triumph Spitfire Saturday, August 6, 2022, from 9 am to 4 pm Eastwood MetroPark 1385 Harshman Rd. Dayton, Ohio Presented by MG Car Club Southwestern Ohio Centre & the Miami Valley Triumphs Participant’s choice car show featuring 28 classes, vendors & swap meet, full-service concession stand, dash plaques to first 200 entrants, and as always, spectators are admitted for free. Cars are displayed on the tree-lined field at Eastwood Metropark. Registration: $20 in advance includes free BCD t-shirt if received before July 23, 2022; $20 day of the show Vendors $25, T-shirts $15 Registration is open from 9 am until Noon. The cars and motorcycles of the Roarin’ Twenties will be featured at the 2021 Dayton Concours. The Dayton Concours d’Elegance at Carillon Park presented by AAA is the Midwest’s premier classic & antique automobile and motorcycle show. The invitational event brings some of the finest historical cars and motorcycles together inside the grounds of the 65-acre historical park. The vehicles are either restored to original or preserved in original condition. Cars from the early 1900’s are displayed alongside the classics of the ‘50’s and ‘60’s, as well as a variety of two-wheeled machines. Entries are judged and compete in a number of classes and also for special awards. 14th Annual British Transportation Museum “Meet at the Market”

Come join the British Transportation Museum “Meet at the Market” for all British cars. The Meet runs from 9AM to 3PM on May 27, 2017. Car registration is $15 in before May 20th and $18 after May 21. Registration will be limited to the first 100 cars. We will have a silent auction again this year. We will have a Kid’s Activities Tent. Come enjoy the 2nd Street Market that boosts local growers, bakers, culinary specialists, and artisans that fill this charming historic freight house. The British Transportation Museum in Dayton, Ohio will hold its 13th annual British Car Meet on Saturday May 28, 2016. The Location will be the same as last year with the Meet at the South side of the building at 32 Webster Street, home of “TOP of the Market Banquet and Event Center” in downtown Dayton. The Meet runs from 9AM to 3PM. Car registration is $15 in before May 21st and $18 after May 21st. Registration will be limited to the first 100 cars.

Report on Dayton Sunbeam Convention

Tigers East / Alpines East had a huge crowd at their Rootes United XXXIV in Dayton Ohio last the first weekend of August. Nearly 90 Sunbeams and over 170 people attended. Below is a time lapse video of owners leaving for the show last Saturday morning. Note the two Harrington’s in the first two parking spots. This show was held in conjunction with the Dayton British car show. With the 90 Sunbeam cars, they had a total of 370 British cars at the show which made a new record for them. Another record for them was the long distance award which was given to a couple from the Sunbeam club who drove their Tiger from British Columbia 2800 miles to attend!
