Rule Britannia Concours Gala – California

California-Rule Britannia Concours of Elegance kicks off Monterey Car Week with our Red Carpet Gala Event “A Celebration of Fine British Automobiles” on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at the Laguna Seca Golf Ranch from 7:30-10 pm.
Our exclusive gala event for British marques and their legions of admirers and enthusiasts will be the first on the Monterey Peninsula focusing on this important, but underserved community.
During this year’s gala, William Hiland the event chairman unveils plans for the inaugural 2019 Rule Britannia Concours of Elegance, scheduled for Monday, August 12, 2019. Previewing 2019 our “Celebration of Fine British Automobiles” includes a display of rare and historically significant motorcars, as well as, prime examples of Britain’s newest cutting edge automoblies. Entertainment will include distinguished guest speakers, live music, finger food, fine wine tastings and full service bar.
We are excited to have a number of distinguished guests on hand providing insights and perspective on their favorite model and marques. Author and historian, Robert Devlin, will share his lifetime of experiences with British cars on the Monterey Peninsula during the 50’s and 60’s. Entrepreneur, creator, innovator, mentor, brand ambassador and an Aston Martin designer (DB9 and Aston Martin V8 Vantage) Henry Fisker, will share his love for iconic car creations.
General admission tickets are $150. A special British Car Patron VIP experience includes a special seating area and a hosted bar, Patron tickets are $250. All tickets include parking. “An event for British automobiles is long overdue in Monterey and we hope to celebrate the best of Britain with an event that guests will return to year after year,” says the events Chairman.
