I have mentioned this book a few times before, but I owe it to you to give a more informative review. Jaguar Design: A Story of Style, is as stunning book both in presentation and in content.  As billed by publisher Porter Press, this is, essentially, the story of three men — Jaguar company founder and owner Sir William Lyons, aerodynamicist Malcolm Sayer and current Design Director Ian Callum — and how they shaped the cars that made Jaguar famous. Jaguar XE Named Best Executive Car

The Jaguar XE has added to its already impressive trophy cabinet with major wins at two prestigious award ceremonies in November. The XE was crowned ‘Best Executive’ in the Scottish Car of the Year awards. Alisdair Suttie, President of the Association of Scottish Motoring Writers, said: “With its fine lines penned by Scotsman Ian Callum, the Jaguar XE is as good looking as executive saloons come. Jaguar Partners with Design Schools

Jaguar has announced its partnership with two premier U.S.  design colleges, Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA and the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, CA. Student participants in the program will have the opportunity to work on Jaguar design briefs to create a 2030+ model year concept vision halo sports car and 2+2 sports coupe four-door interior. The design briefs were created by the Jaguar Design team who will interact with students throughout the semester and ultimately judge the students’ work. Jaguar is celebrating an excellent team performance in the 2015 Mille Miglia with all nine cars finishing the grueling 1,000-mile endurance rally across Italy, with two cars inside the top 200 finishers. According to Motoring.com.au, Jaguar may be eyeing the Mercedes-Benz A-Class with the first front-wheel-drive Jaguar hatchback.
