DESCRIPTION:The Texas Triumph Register is pleased to extend this invitation to all of you to the 2023 VTR South Central Regionals to be held April 19-22 in Sugar Land\, Texas. The theme will be a 70th Anniversary Celebration of the introduction of the TR2. \nOur host hotel\, the Sugar Land Hilton Garden Inn\, is centrally located very near to all of the driving event venues and provides spacious meeting and dining room capacity for all of the onsite activities. \nThe farm roads of west Harris and Ft Bend Counties offer plenty of non-freeway driving opportunities on which to enjoy unique sights and attractions while taking your Triumph on one or more of the planned driving tours. \nCelebrating the 70th Anniversary of the iconic TR2\, the first of the famous TR series of Triumph sports cars. The TR2 was developed to compete with successful sports car designs from rival manufacturers such as MG and Jaguar. The Triumph TR-2 was built by the Triumph Motor Company in Coventry\, England\, between August 1953 and September 1955\, a total of 8\,636 TR2s were produced. It was then replaced in 1955 by the Triumph TR3. \nCome join us for plenty of fun\, fellowship\, and driving events\, including: \n\nRegionals Welcome Reception (Thursday\, April 20th)\nScheduled breakfast and dinner drives\nConcourse (Friday morning\, April\, 21st)\nGimmick Rally (Friday afternoon\, April 21st)\nDrives on your own to local points of interest (all weekend long)\nAutocross (Saturday\, April 22nd)\nFunkhana (Saturday\, April 22nd)\nAwards Banquet (Saturday evening\, April 22nd)
