SUMMARY:Greenwich\, Connecticut\, Concours d’Elegance
DESCRIPTION:2017 will be the 22nd Greenwich Concours! Recognized as one of the premier concours in the country\, Greenwich is unique in that it is two concours back to back. Saturday is the Concours Americana for American cars and motorcycles\, while Sunday is the Concours International for imported marques. \nSaturday will feature a circle of contemporary supercars\, both American and foreign. Saturday’s ticket allows you to preview all of the cars in the Bonhams auction tent. We will also have our first ever Hot Rod Class and a sure-to-please display of children’s cars. Be sure to join us Saturday night for the duPont REGISTRY Live party at the Delamar Hotel\, with a sumptuous buffet and luxurious yachts. On Sunday\, we welcome the American Bugatti Club\, with Bugatti being our featured marque. The Bonhams auction begins at noon and requires a separate admission – or you can watch through the open side of the tent. \nOn both days there will be displays of new cars including BMW\, Lincoln\, Cadillac\, Porsche\, Lotus\, Tesla\, Mercedes-Benz\, Volvo\, Jaguar\, Land Rover\, Alfa Romeo and Miller Motorcars – with Ferrari\, Pagani\, Aston Martin\, McLaren\, Bentley and Maserati. There are even opportunities to test drive some of these amazing new vehicles. We will also have incredible yachts displayed at the Delamar Hotel docks from VanDutch\, Destino\, and Castaways Yacht Club.

SUMMARY:British By The Sea Gathering\, 2017 - 30th Anniversary
DESCRIPTION:The Connecticut MG Club’s “BRITISH BY THE SEA” is a fun gathering of people who own and appreciate British Vehicles of all Marques.  Although we do present etched glass mug awards to vehicles selected by popular vote\, “BRITISH BY THE SEA” is not a judged show. We want to encourage all British car\, truck\, and motorcycle owners and enthusiasts to attend and have an enjoyable time. Whether your vehicle is in pristine condition\, or a daily driver\, sparkling paint and chrome or with “Barn Fresh” patina\, it deserves to be part of the event and on the display field.This is going to be our \nThis is going to be our 30th-anniversary event\, and we want to make it Special!  The Featured Marque for this year’s 30th Anniversary British By The Sea is the Morris. As usual\, our Featured Marque will be prominently displayed in the front row and will have generous room to display the vehicles along with any club tents for memorabilia and hospitality. \nOur BBTS Gathering is always scheduled on the first Sunday in June\, at the scenic 240 acre Harkness Memorial State Park in Waterford Ct.\, on the north shore of Long Island Sound. We want to encourage people to come down and enjoy a day mingling with other LBC owners\, talk about cars\, have a picnic\, a glass of wine\, and also take in all that Harkness Memorial State Park has to offer\, such as the beach\, the Mansion “Eolia”\, and the Gardens. The CT MG Club donates a large amount of our proceeds from BBTS to the Park to purchase plants for the West Gardens\, helping to restore the “Eolia” Gardens to their original grandeur as designed by Beatrix Farrand in 1919. In addition\, we provide “people power” over a few weekends to plant them.We have selected a variety of quality food vendors to attend in order to satisfy any appetite\, from hot dogs and hamburgers\, lobster rolls\, and \nWe have selected a variety of quality food vendors to attend in order to satisfy any appetite\, from hot dogs and hamburgers\, lobster rolls\, and wood fired brick oven pizzas\, to Ice Cream for desert. DESCRIPTION:47th Annual AMOC-East – The AMOC North America East’s premier annual event. Interlaken Inn\, Lakeville\, Ct. A Multi-day event including a concours\, racing at Lime Rock race track\, a rally through the beautiful Berkshires and a fabulous award dinner. \nThis starts with a road tour on Thursday morning that concludes with a fine luncheon at a member’s restored country manse. \nFriday sees the white glove crowd gather on the lawn across from the Interlaken Inn to display the finest Astons to be found. In fact\, there are cars here that get shipped in from all over the US and Canada. \nLastly\, the Track day at Lime Rock Park takes place on Saturday with some incredibly rare cars at speed.
