DESCRIPTION:THE PANHANDLE BRITISH CAR ASSOCIATION will present our 25th Pensacola British Car Show on April 21st-22nd\, 2017\, scheduled to be held at Seville Square park bordered by E.Government St\, S.Alcaniz St\, E.Zarragossa St. and S.Adams St\, just two city blocks off E.Main St\, and a short distance south-west of our previous location. Seville Square is a shaded park only a few feet from the beautiful waters of the Gulf of Mexico. It’s a lovely vacation or weekend paradise only walking distance to restaurants and shopping in the historic downtown Pensacola area. \nParticipants Choice Award” and Class Awards are determined by the votes of registered show participants. The “Best of Show Award” is a Judged Award. Each vehicle entered will receive a ballot and dash plaque placed in the car at noon. Voting closes at 2:00 pm and awards are at 3:30pm. There are approximately 26 classes as determined by pre-registration numbers and each class will be awarded a 1st\, 2nd\, and 3rd place trophy as applicable. There also are several special awards and some surprise awards. This is not a “concours” show\, but a chance for British car lovers to get together\, display their cars and have a good time. Any car can go home with a trophy. So bring your British “ride” this year and enjoy the camaraderie.

SUMMARY:11th Annual Wheels Across The Pond - Jupiter\, FL
DESCRIPTION:Wheels Across The Pond is one of the premier British Classic Car and Motorcycle Shows in the state of Florida taking place on Easter Saturday each year at the beautiful Carlin Park in Jupiter. Our first show took place in 2007\, and in 2016 we had an entry list consisting of 254 British and European Classic Cars and Bikes and thousands of spectators as well as local automotive dealers bringing us new models from Jaguar\, Land Rover\, Aston Martin\, Rolls Royce\, Bentley\, MINI and Morgan. In 2009\, we introduced a Euroclass which allows owners of European marques to join us at the show. Wheels Across The Pond is a non-profit organization and our show raises money each year a Jupiter-based no-kill animal rescue center\, the Busch Wildlife Sanctuary. \nSpectator admission is free and preferred parking (at the show field) is $10 per vehicle. Vehicle registration on the day is open from 8:30am to 11:45am and the show runs from 12pm to 5pm.

DESCRIPTION:This will be the 11th edition of our Carolina British Classic Car Show. Again it will be at The Historic Columbia Speedway participating with Tartan Day South. There will be events on Thursday\, Friday and the CBC XI Car Show on Saturday. \nThe first event for all pre-registered participants begins on Thursday evening presented by Tartan Day South Festival. This is a free drop-in event. Go to www.tartandaydsouth.com for all TDS events. \nFriday we will again have a “Ramble of the Tartans” presented by The Lake Murray Chamber of Commerce. There will be a reception for show participants on Friday evening – details to be determined. It follows an old British custom of taking a mid-morning break for tea and scones. Those familiar with Harry Potter know what Quidditch is. Those unfamiliar will be briefed so that you can enjoy it as well. \nDiamond Springs Water – will be on hand to offer their fresh brewed coffee (free of charge) for us to enjoy with our pastries BCD morning. \nShuttle to Towne Centre – Dennis and Tina have kindly offered the use of their SUV to shuttle a few of our out of town guests to Towne Centre for an hour or so of shopping. Your lovely driver will be Tina Lacey\, and this will be offered on a first-come-first-served basis. More details at the show. \nWe will have a silent auction at the Welcome Reception including some great picnic baskets all set up and ready to enter into the Picnic Competition on Saturday. You can set out a spread in your trunk\, on a pretty blanket or tablecloth on the ground or a table if you can fit it in your trunk. You can be formal or just have some fun with it. DESCRIPTION:This year we chose a new location\, Kingsport/Blountville\, Tennessee as the base for our 3 day driving adventure. It’s located near some amazing mountains and rivers setting the scene for some breathtaking drives through Tennessee\, Virginia\, Kentucky\, and North Carolina. As with all of our CMU events\, we like to drive\, and that’s what we’ll be doing. We will have drives each of the three days with plenty of stops and things to see. Add in the nighttime activities\, and you have the most amazing classic Mini event in North America! But wait\, there’s more! This event will have a Hawaiian theme entitled Kalaiwa Wikiwiki Mauka\, meaning\, driving quickly towards the mountains. While we won’t have the Hawaiian beaches\, we will have mountains\, water\, and a lot of tacky tourist in full Hawaiian dress. If you were at the Hippie Mini 56 you will have an idea how much FUN this will be! \n \nNote\, we will be driving through the mountains during the peak (hopefully) of the Fall leaves changing colors. We won’t see big Hawaiian waves (many waves from locals though)\, but we will see something you can’t see in Hawaii\, amazing colors everywhere.

Bring a picnic basket or purchase your lunch at the show and join the MGs of Baltimore for what has always been a superb show. Bring your parts shopping list for your ongoing renovation projects or your Christmas wish list for regalia and accessories. \nAt MGs on the Rocks you will find: \nA field full of British cars in a casual park setting \n\nLots of vendors of new and used parts.\nA great selection of various British cars for sale.\nAn unlimited supply of expertise on whatever technical or restoration problem you have.\nClassic British Invasion Era Music\nPit Beef Sandwiches and other treats from The Sunshine Grille\nA wide range of classes for awards for all British Marques.\n\nPut your car on the field! Although we have many beautiful cars\, this is very much a “come as you are” gathering. Only owners of cars on the field can vote. \nPre-register! Awards are generally 3 per class\, but may vary as pre-registration indicates. We base our new classes on pre-registrations\, so if you want to justify any new classes make sure you pre-register. Dash plaques are only guaranteed to pre-registrants.
