DESCRIPTION:The Connecticut MG Club’s “BRITISH BY THE SEA” is a fun gathering of people who own and appreciate British Vehicles of all Marques.  Although we do present etched glass mug awards to vehicles selected by popular vote\, “BRITISH BY THE SEA” is not a judged show. We want to encourage all British car\, truck\, and motorcycle owners and enthusiasts to attend and have an enjoyable time. Whether your vehicle is in pristine condition\, or a daily driver\, sparkling paint and chrome or with “Barn Fresh” patina\, it deserves to be part of the event and on the display field.This is going to be our \nThis is going to be our 30th-anniversary event\, and we want to make it Special!  The Featured Marque for this year’s 30th Anniversary British By The Sea is the Morris. As usual\, our Featured Marque will be prominently displayed in the front row and will have generous room to display the vehicles along with any club tents for memorabilia and hospitality. \nOur BBTS Gathering is always scheduled on the first Sunday in June\, at the scenic 240 acre Harkness Memorial State Park in Waterford Ct.\, on the north shore of Long Island Sound. We want to encourage people to come down and enjoy a day mingling with other LBC owners\, talk about cars\, have a picnic\, a glass of wine\, and also take in all that Harkness Memorial State Park has to offer\, such as the beach\, the Mansion “Eolia”\, and the Gardens. The CT MG Club donates a large amount of our proceeds from BBTS to the Park to purchase plants for the West Gardens\, helping to restore the “Eolia” Gardens to their original grandeur as designed by Beatrix Farrand in 1919. In addition\, we provide “people power” over a few weekends to plant them.We have selected a variety of quality food vendors to attend in order to satisfy any appetite\, from hot dogs and hamburgers\, lobster rolls\, and \nWe have selected a variety of quality food vendors to attend in order to satisfy any appetite\, from hot dogs and hamburgers\, lobster rolls\, and wood fired brick oven pizzas\, to Ice Cream for desert. SUMMARY:All British Marque Car and Motorcycle Show - Delaware Valley\, PA
DESCRIPTION:Cars and Motorcycles of England returns to the historic Oakbourne Mansion again in 2017\, featuring an all-British marque judged motorcar and motorcycle concours\, and a nationally sanctioned Jaguar Concours d’Elegance. The combined show fields represent one of the largest British Motoring shows on the East Coast with over 250 cars and motorcycles participating in each of the last four years. The show field opens at 8:30 AM and Judging begins at 10:00 AM. Prizes will be awarded beginning at 2:30PM. \nDelaware Valley Triumphs sponsors the All-British show. In 2015 our show field included the following marques: Aston Martin\, Austin\, Austin Healey\, Bentley\, Daimler\, Innocenti\, Jaguar\, Lancester\, Lotus\, MG\, Mini\, Morgan\, Peerless\, Rolls Royce\, Rover\, Sunbeam\, and\, of course\, Triumph. Motorcycles included BSA\, Norton\, and Triumph. In 2017 there are 40 award classes for automobiles and four for motorcycles. Special awards will also be given for Diamond in the Rough\, the Best of Show – Participants’ Choice and the Best of Show – Judge’s Choice. Registration is $20 per vehicle until May 27\, 2017\, and $25 from May 27 onward.

Saturday’s ticket allows you to preview all of the cars in the Bonhams auction tent. We will also have our first ever Hot Rod Class and a sure-to-please display of children’s cars. Be sure to join us Saturday night for the duPont REGISTRY Live party at the Delamar Hotel\, with a sumptuous buffet and luxurious yachts. On Sunday\, we welcome the American Bugatti Club\, with Bugatti being our featured marque. The Bonhams auction begins at noon and requires a separate admission – or you can watch through the open side of the tent. \nOn both days there will be displays of new cars including BMW\, Lincoln\, Cadillac\, Porsche\, Lotus\, Tesla\, Mercedes-Benz\, Volvo\, Jaguar\, Land Rover\, Alfa Romeo and Miller Motorcars – with Ferrari\, Pagani\, Aston Martin\, McLaren\, Bentley and Maserati. DESCRIPTION:The 26 annual Champagne British Car Festival will be held June 2\,3 & 4\, 2017 in Bloomington\, Illinois.  DeLorean has been chosen as the featured marque.  The Sunday public show on the lawn of the historic David Davis Mansion will feature the Mecum Auction “Mobile Experience” trailer and the McNuty Irish Dancers. \n \nFor anyone who has watched one of the Mecum auctions on TV\, you know how glamorous this side of car auctions can be. The glossy paint\, rare cars and high-rollers willing to bid up to get what they want make for an exciting event. But that excitement had been limited to the people who happen to watch the auctions on TV or get to one in person\, until Mecum joined up with Spevco to create a mobile marketing unit that brings that excitement out on the road. \n“When they came to us\, they wanted something they could take to car shows\, events and their own auctions to interact with people and help build their brand\,” said Chris Stonehouse\, mission specialist. What they ended up with was an exhibit that can display a couple of cars at a time\, on a stage just like the ones that are set up for each auctions. The cars come rolling out to huge fanfare\, and people love to get up close and personal with the cars. \nThe interactive exhibit includes iPads where people can learn more about Mecum and register into their database for alerts of upcoming auctions and a regular newsletter. For registering they get a t-shirt\, and then they’re able to get up on stage for a photo-op with the car\, which they can share on social media. “It’s been a great way for them to really build excitement and advertise upcoming events\,” Stonehouse said. [Mecum Spevco] \nMecum kicked off their 2016 auctions with a big event in Kissimmee\, Fla.\, earlier this month\, and Stonehouse was lucky to be able to be there and take part in some of the marketing events. From there the trailer will travel to car shows and specialty events a it makes its way to the other auctions on tap for 2016. “Mecum’s marketing team has been really pleased with the success of this program\,” Stonehouse said. “We not only created a customized trailer\, but we cover the logistics of taking it on the road. DESCRIPTION:North America’s First Morgan Three Wheeler Convention will be held in Augusta Georgia May 18-21\, 2017.  There are plenty of Morgan 4 Wheeler outings\, but there has never been a event dedicated to the Morgan Three Wheeler. This event will include both the vintage Morgan three wheelers as well as the modern three wheelers. But\, you don’t have to own a Morgan three-wheeler to attend! \n \nWant a new Morgan Three Wheeler in your garage??  The vendors will be there. DESCRIPTION:The MG Vintage Racers (MGVR) have selected the Vintage Racer Group’s (VRG) “Historic Races” at the New Jersey Motorsports Park (NJMP) the weekend of September 15-17 as their “Focus Event” for 2017. \nMGVR encourages all MG racers (and spectators) to attend this special event\, where a large turnout of MGs will be racing! The tentative schedule calls for a weekend of vintage car racing – including two “All-MG Races”. \nNon-racing activities include: Thursday evening’s MGVR “Meet and Greet” social at “MGVR Central” in the paddock; a Saturday evening “Craft Beer Tasting” at the Millville Army Air Field Museum located adjacent to the track (Interesting museum!); followed by a VRG “BBQ Feast” at the museum. \nNJMP has two tracks – “Lightning” and “Thunder”. This weekend its other track will be featuring NASCAR’s “Pro-Series East” race event. (Two Race events for one weekend!). Also\, consider that NJMP is near Atlantic City and the Jersey Shore once you are here!

SUMMARY:Brits on the Bay - Pensacola\, FL
DESCRIPTION:THE PANHANDLE BRITISH CAR ASSOCIATION will present our 25th Pensacola British Car Show on April 21st-22nd\, 2017\, scheduled to be held at Seville Square park bordered by E.Government St\, S.Alcaniz St\, E.Zarragossa St. and S.Adams St\, just two city blocks off E.Main St\, and a short distance south-west of our previous location. Seville Square is a shaded park only a few feet from the beautiful waters of the Gulf of Mexico. It’s a lovely vacation or weekend paradise only walking distance to restaurants and shopping in the historic downtown Pensacola area. \nParticipants Choice Award” and Class Awards are determined by the votes of registered show participants. The “Best of Show Award” is a Judged Award. Each vehicle entered will receive a ballot and dash plaque placed in the car at noon. Voting closes at 2:00 pm and awards are at 3:30pm. There are approximately 26 classes as determined by pre-registration numbers and each class will be awarded a 1st\, 2nd\, and 3rd place trophy as applicable. There also are several special awards and some surprise awards. This is not a “concours” show\, but a chance for British car lovers to get together\, display their cars and have a good time. Any car can go home with a trophy. So bring your British “ride” this year and enjoy the camaraderie.
