DESCRIPTION:Charleston’s long-running British Car Day attracts British cars from Florida to Ohio. The show is on a grassed field surrounded by Live Oak trees. The show attracts cars from a 1909 Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost to a 2018 McLaren 720S along with Triumph’s\, MG’s\, Austin Healey’s\, Aston Martin’s\, Jaguar’s\, Bentley’s\, and British motorcycles. We have a Spotlight Margue this year\, the Morgan. We are planning a very special Welcome Reception the day before the show\, so come early! \nTour and Reception \nFor those who arrive early\, we have a full Friday of events planned. Friday will start at 11 am with a meet-up at the McLeod Plantation. We’ll then take a drive through some of the most scenic parts of Charleston. Then starting at 1 pm you can go to a traditional English tea. Then at 3 pm\, you can take a tour of McLeod Plantation. The Evening Welcome Reception runs from 5 pm to 9 pm and is included for two with your British Car Day registration. \nYour registration to British Car Day includes two attending the Friday evening Welcome Reception. DESCRIPTION:One of the highlights of Grand Prix Race Weekend in Schenley Park is British Car Day\, sponsored by the Western Pennsylvania Triumph Association (WPTA). It features over 500 of England’s best sport and luxury automobiles. 2018 will mark the 38th year of this great event and the 31st year that it has taken place in conjunction with the PVGP in Schenley Park. During that time the WPTA has raised $151\,000 for the Grand Prix charities! \nLocated in the middle of the golf course it is the anchor of our International Car Show. British Car Day is the largest annual British-only car show in Pennsylvania whose proceeds have always been contributed to charity. The WPTA’s British Car Day was first held at Hartwood Acres from 1981 to 1986. In joining the Grand Prix in 1987\, an immediate synergy was evident. That relationship has continued to be a huge success with each event complimenting the other.

DESCRIPTION:Moss Motorfest is back! \nAlthough\, as sports car fans know\, bigger isn’t always better—2017 Moss Motorfest is going to be huge! Come hang out with your favorite 4-wheeled friends for a day of car sports car delights. From 8:00am till 2:00pm there will be hundreds of cars to lust over\, tours of the Moss facility\, music\, food vendors\, prizes … and more fun than you can shake a stick shift at. There are activities for all ages\, so bring family\, bring friends\, bring your love for petrol-fueled good times. \nIn 2015\, nearly 300 cars from near and far joined us for Motorfest. We hope to see all our old friends and new faces\, too\, this year! \nTo participate in Motorfest\, you must register online prior to May 26\, 2017. General parking will be available for unregistered guests. \nFriday Night Pre-Party\nThe evening prior to Motorfest\, Moss is hosting a pre-party. We are decking out a big section of our warehouse facilities for an evening you won’t want to miss! The cost is $15\, which will include hor d’hoeurves and entertainment. Beer\, wine\, sodas and other beverages will be available for purchase. This will be a terrific jumpstart to Motorfest on Saturday! \nBritish Sports Car Hall of Fame\nThe ceremony for the induction of the inaugural class for the British Sports Car Hall of Fame will take place on Friday\, June 2\, 2017 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Join the honorees for a cocktail party in their honor and a panel discussion about their memories of the golden age. \nOn June 3\, 2017\, join the inductees at the Moss Motorfest\, where there will be interviews\, autograph sessions and opportunities to personally meet with these motoring legends. \nSpace is very limited for the Friday night ceremony so be sure to reserve your space now. \nFor attendees trailering their vehicle: Trailers are not allowed on the show field. There will be a dedicated space for trailer unloading and parking. \nAll registrations received before April 30\, 2017\, will be automatically entered into a drawing. The winner will receive a $250 Moss gift certificate!

DESCRIPTION:This will be the 11th edition of our Carolina British Classic Car Show. Again it will be at The Historic Columbia Speedway participating with Tartan Day South. There will be events on Thursday\, Friday and the CBC XI Car Show on Saturday. \nThe first event for all pre-registered participants begins on Thursday evening presented by Tartan Day South Festival. This is a free drop-in event. Go to www.tartandaydsouth.com for all TDS events. \nFriday we will again have a “Ramble of the Tartans” presented by The Lake Murray Chamber of Commerce. This takes the form of a rally of British Classic Cars circling Lake Murray with informative stops at several historic locations along the way. \nThe drive will start and finish at the host Wingate Hotel 803-957-5000 at 108 Saluda Pointe Court\, Lexington\, SC. There will be a reception for show participants on Friday evening – details to be determined. There will be an opportunity for the assembled LBCs to convoy to the festival grounds and park as a group to take in a classic Celtic Concert. \nThis year there will again be a special “ladies” event called the ELEVENSES. It follows an old British custom of taking a mid-morning break for tea and scones. This will be a great chance for participants to socialize and get to know one another \nRegister early and join in with us for all the events. \n \n \n2017 CAROLINA BRITISH CLASSICS – XI\nThe Speedway is a historic “vintage” track from the early days of NASCAR racing. This year we will again be merging our event with the popular Tartan Day South Festival. DESCRIPTION:The 32nd Annual British Car Day presented by the British Car Club of Charleston\, SC\, will be on Saturday\, October 29th\, at Mt. Pleasant Memorial Waterfront Park. \nWe have several new items this year which we’ve incorporated into BCD to make the day more enjoyable for all: \nSticky Fingers – We are very fortunate to have the food at our Welcome Reception donated by Sticky Fingers for which we are incredibly thankful! \nBottles Beverage Superstore – We are very fortunate to have a wine tasting provided by Bottles at our Welcome reception. \nAirbrush on the Corner by Sandi – Caricaturist – will be on hand to draw a fun image of you. If you want to bring a picture of you and your car\, she may be able to incorporate the car. Prices start at $20\, and if you would please\, cash only! \nCollege of Charleston Quidditch Team – will entertain us with a demo in the afternoon. Those familiar with Harry Potter know what Quidditch is. Those unfamiliar will be briefed so that you can enjoy it as well. \nDiamond Springs Water – will be on hand to offer their fresh brewed coffee (free of charge) for us to enjoy with our pastries BCD morning. \nShuttle to Towne Centre – Dennis and Tina have kindly offered the use of their SUV to shuttle a few of our out of town guests to Towne Centre for an hour or so of shopping. Your lovely driver will be Tina Lacey\, and this will be offered on a first-come-first-served basis. More details at the show. \nWe will have a silent auction at the Welcome Reception including some great picnic baskets all set up and ready to enter into the Picnic Competition on Saturday. You can set out a spread in your trunk\, on a pretty blanket or tablecloth on the ground or a table if you can fit it in your trunk. You can be formal or just have some fun with it. Get in the spirit (a Halloween Picnic Basket perhaps? Hmmmmm?) \nYou will also notice a few new items on the field which we hope you will enjoy.

DESCRIPTION:The Hilton Head Island Motoring Festival & Concours d’Elegance will celebrate its 15th year in the fall of 2016. The Festival kicks off with the Savannah Speed Classic\, October 28 – 30\, on the Grand Prize of America road course situated on the property of The Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort & Spa. The festivities will continue on Hilton Head Island\, South Carolina\, November 4 – 6\, at Port Royal Golf Club where the Concours d’Elegance (Nov. 6) will take center stage. Motoring Festival Partners for the 2016 Festival include the Port Royal Golf Club\, The Westin Hilton Head Island Resort & Spa\, The Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort & Spa\, the Hilton Head Island/Bluffton Chamber of Commerce and Visit Savannah. \n \nThis year the event will also pay tribute to the Silver Screen in this year’s exclusive “Life on the Silver Screen” exhibit sponsored by the South Carolina Film Commission. Now in its eighth year\, the Festival’s “Life” exhibits honor American automotive culture and era-specific vehicles with annually changing themes.
