DESCRIPTION:The SUMMIT Classic Rally Tour will be offered as a three-day event for “Classic Cars” up to 1989 and Exotics of later manufacture. Classes will include: \n\nVintage – up to 1962\nHistoric – 1963 to 1972\nClassic – 1973 to 1989\nExotics – 1990 to present\n\nAwards will be presented for qualifiers in each classification. \nIncluded features: Watkins Glen Grand Prix Circuit\, the Original Street Circuit\, the International Motor Racing Research Centre\, the Saratoga Automotive Museum and the VSCCA Mt. Equinox Hillclimb. \nThe “SUMMIT Rally Tour” will have two start locations – the Niagara Falls/Buffalo area and the Albany/Schenectady area.  The first leg of the rally will take rallyists over interesting routes planned to deliver a stimulating and pleasurable “Last Open Road” morning session before converging on Watkins Glen for an overnight stop\, including great food and accommodations at the famed Seneca Lodge. \nNote: We are actively seeking the cooperation of local motor clubs and enthusiasts in the preferred “Start Point” areas to assist us in staging this fabulous new event. Next year’s rally will be the seventh MINI TAKES THE STATES adventure for MINI owners and enthusiasts\, with previous rallies taking place every other summer since 2006. The route for MTTS 2018 will be announced at a later date. \nAt the end of MINI TAKES THE STATES 2016 I stood at the Thermal Club in front of thousands of MINI owners and promised that we would rally again in 2018. Today\, together with the MINI USA team\, we are delivering on that promise and it is going to be an epic adventure.\n— Thomas Felbermair\, Vice President\, MINI Americas Region \nIn 2016\, MINI owners rallied with a purpose\, making an epic 14-day\, 4\,397-mile adventure that started at Atlanta Motor Speedway on July 9 and ending at The Thermal Club in Palm Springs\, Calif.\, all in the name of raising money to #DefyHunger with charity partner Feeding America. By the time the rally had come to a close at the Thermal Club\, the group had raised enough money to provide more than one million meals to help people facing hunger though their fundraising efforts\, easily topping the initial goal of 800\,000 meals. A charity partner for MTTS 2018 will be also be announced at a later date. \nMINI TAKES THE STATES 2016 traveled through two national parks and eight race tracks and attracted a record 4\,000 plus MINI owners over the two weeks\, with more than 900 owners going “all the way”. Just like our beloved MINI’s have evolved into more than just a car to us. So you take the 11-mile stretch of road\, then you toss in the mountains\, country roads\, and waterfalls. Now add 600 to 1000 fellow MINIacs and it takes on a whole new meaning. Wake up each morning and see hundreds of Mini’s every day\, attend dinners and events\, go on group drives\, or just gather and drool over each other’s mods. DESCRIPTION:The British Invasion is a weekend celebration of all things British. \nAnnually we attract 550-650 British Cars from Canada and the eastern United States. \nThe Town of Stowe welcomes the “Invaders” with a Big Main Street Party on Friday evening with a live band from 6:30-9:30 PM. \nSaturday is the Concours d’Elegance (Judged with a New Category for PRESERVATION Cars)\, the British Classic (People’s Choice)\, a Car Corral\, British Vendors\, Ladies Hat Competition with awards presented by the “Queen”\,  Food and British Invasion Music.  Registrants and General Admission attendees are encouraged to dress in British Fashion with awards issued in several categories.  Saturday also features the “British Attire Competition\,” which is open to Car Show Registrants & Guest\, and the General Public\, where our roving judges seek out the most original and most interesting British Dressed attendees. \nSunday starts with a morning\, 70 minute\, run over Smuggler’s Notch and the back roads for the Car Show Registrants\, meanwhile back at the show field we feature a driving review of the Saturday Winners\, a Competition of Colors\, and a Tailgate Picnic Competition\, and more. \nCar Club Display Award. \nGates open to the public at 9:00 AM Saturday and Sunday. \nGeneral Admission is $15 for a 2-day Pass or $10 for Sunday only. \nFor arriving early in Stowe – Thursday offers the “Basin Harbor Driving Tour.”

SUMMARY:New England British Reliability Run 2017
DESCRIPTION:The ABRR is based on UK Reliability Runs that to this day continue to run and benefit children’s charities in England. Carried on by the Delaware Valley Triumph Club of PA since 2008\, the ABRR spirit is now spreading throughout the USA with multiple regional runs. The ABRR is a challenging and fun driving event that so far has raised more than $215\,000 for worthy children’s charities here in the states! \nThe ABRR is not a race. The run is conducted on public roads at posted speeds. It is not a road rally either\, as there are no checkpoints or deliberately vague and misleading instructions.  The ABRR Teams travel in groups\, taking care to keep the cars together\, making group stops as necessary. The ABRR is a great fall drive on rural paved roads through beautiful countryside in the company of fellow British car friends. All done for a good cause as the only competition is how much each ABRR Team raises for the kids!

DESCRIPTION:This will be the 11th edition of our Carolina British Classic Car Show. Again it will be at The Historic Columbia Speedway participating with Tartan Day South. There will be events on Thursday\, Friday and the CBC XI Car Show on Saturday. \nThe first event for all pre-registered participants begins on Thursday evening presented by Tartan Day South Festival. This is a free drop-in event. Go to www.tartandaydsouth.com for all TDS events. \nFriday we will again have a “Ramble of the Tartans” presented by The Lake Murray Chamber of Commerce. This takes the form of a rally of British Classic Cars circling Lake Murray with informative stops at several historic locations along the way. \nThe drive will start and finish at the host Wingate Hotel 803-957-5000 at 108 Saluda Pointe Court\, Lexington\, SC. There will be a reception for show participants on Friday evening – details to be determined. There will be an opportunity for the assembled LBCs to convoy to the festival grounds and park as a group to take in a classic Celtic Concert. \nThis year there will again be a special “ladies” event called the ELEVENSES. It follows an old British custom of taking a mid-morning break for tea and scones. SUMMARY:Mini 57 - Classic Minis United
DESCRIPTION:This year we chose a new location\, Kingsport/Blountville\, Tennessee as the base for our 3 day driving adventure. It’s located near some amazing mountains and rivers setting the scene for some breathtaking drives through Tennessee\, Virginia\, Kentucky\, and North Carolina. As with all of our CMU events\, we like to drive\, and that’s what we’ll be doing. We will have drives each of the three days with plenty of stops and things to see. Add in the nighttime activities\, and you have the most amazing classic Mini event in North America! But wait\, there’s more! This event will have a Hawaiian theme entitled Kalaiwa Wikiwiki Mauka\, meaning\, driving quickly towards the mountains. While we won’t have the Hawaiian beaches\, we will have mountains\, water\, and a lot of tacky tourist in full Hawaiian dress. If you were at the Hippie Mini 56 you will have an idea how much FUN this will be! \n \nNote\, we will be driving through the mountains during the peak (hopefully) of the Fall leaves changing colors. We won’t see big Hawaiian waves (many waves from locals though)\, but we will see something you can’t see in Hawaii\, amazing colors everywhere.

DESCRIPTION:Almost every summer\, in late July or early August\, The Roadster Factory holds a major British car event of its own on the Runyan farm and around the surrounding area in Indiana County\, Pennsylvania. This event\, known as The Roadster Factory Summer Party\, grows in size every year\, with several hundred cars expected in the years it is being held. The Summer Party is unique in that many enthusiasts camp on the farm during the entire three-day event. Events at The Summer Party include Drag Racing\, Autocross\, Gymkhana\, TSD Rallye\, Mountain Touring\, Participants Choice Concours d’ Elegance\, and opportunities for socializing.
