DESCRIPTION:British Car Week is an annual awareness week intended for owners of Classic British Cars to get their cars out of the garage and drive them. While doing so\, all who are involved will help create awareness of the classic British car hobby in local communities wherever there is participation. \nIt doesn’t matter whether your car is in better than new condition\, or perhaps it’s a less than perfect unrestored gem\, we love them all! As long as it can be safely driven down the road\, this is a great opportunity to show off your favorite car and take advantage of what British car motoring is all about. \nMeanwhile\, if you want to drive your car and need some ideas for places to go\, please take a look at the activities calendar (linked on this page) for some ideas. British car events are always a lot of fun\, and a great place to meet others who share the same enthusiasm for our beloved old British transportation of the past.

SUMMARY:70th Annual Rallye Glenwood Spring - Colorado
DESCRIPTION:The MG Car Club – Rocky Mountain Centre invites you to join us for the 70th Annual Rallye Glenwood Springs\, the oldest\, continually held\,time-speed-distance rally in the United States\, on Friday\, Saturday\, and Sunday\, June 10\, 11\, and 12\, 2022. This year’s rallye is being held in honor of the Platinum Jubilee of her Majesty the Queen. \nThe weekend is a marvelous opportunity\, not just for MG owners\, but for sports car enthusiasts of every marque (British\, American\, German\, Italian\, Asian to come together for sunny days\, cool nights\, and unique events in Glenwood Springs. The fun begins on Friday with the more rigorous time-speed-distance rallye designed to challenge both novice and experienced rallyists. The rallye departs from Gunther Toody’s Restaurant in Littleton\, CO\, runs through canyons and over mountain passes in the heart of the Rocky Mountains\, and finishes in Glenwood Springs. \nSaturday’s main event is the ‘Many Miles’ Tour which starts and finishes in Glenwood Springs. On the way\, you will enjoy some of the most beautiful scenery Colorado has to offer. \nThe weekend’s activities round out with the Car Show\, Funkhana\, and Awards Presentation on Sunday. \nYour registration package contains a raffle ticket. Make sure you bring it to the car show on Sunday to be eligible for door prizes. \nSince its inception\, the MGCC-RMC has sponsored the Rallye\, which began when a hardy group of sports car owners\, led by Mrs. Hazel Marble\, discovered the joys of motoring in Colorado in MGs that still had drop-down tops and running boards. \nVintage and classic cars from as far away as California and Connecticut have shared the twisting mountain roads with their newer counterparts for octane-related festivities. Enthusiasts have come from as far away as England to drive their sports cars through such fabled Colorado mining towns as Marble\, Leadville\, and Aspen on their way to Glenwood Springs.

DESCRIPTION:Event Details: \nFRIDAY\, JUNE 24th :\nJoin the IBCC Summer Tour 2022 (ST22)! We’re excited to have you with us. There is a lot to do and see in and around Twin Falls. We hope you choose a few of these adventures to partake in! \nTwo Hour Road Trips: Friday morning \nSeveral local driving routes have been identified to provide Summer Tour 2022 (ST22) an excuse to explore Idaho’s back roads. Enjoy the scenery and learn about Idaho’s local history while exercising your Brit car. Route information will be available when you check-in for ST22 on Thursday\, June 23rd. \nCampbell Tilapia Fish Farm Tour: Friday\, June 24\, 10 am \nDon and Diana Campbell\, longtime and generous IBCC members\, own and operate a Tilapia fish farm near Buhl\, Idaho. Don will provide an informative and interesting tour of his operation for up to 25 people. You can sign up to be a part of this one-of-a-kind event hosted by one of our own members on Thursday evening at the Welcome Reception. \nFriday Lunch Options @ Lower Salmon Falls Park Pavilion: \nOpt-in for lunch Friday on your registration sheet. Each person can order a box lunch available after the aforementioned Friday morning events. Choose between pastrami\, chicken\, or veggie wrap on your registration form. Your wrap will come with fresh vegetable sticks\, fruit\, chips\, and a homemade cookie. Your lunch also includes bottled water. \nIdaho Raft Trip! Friday\, 1 pm \nA licensed guide will take us on a three-hour float trip on the Snake River with Class II and Class III rapids. Enjoy great rapids\, beautiful scenery\, and even the occasional Idaho wildlife. All necessary equipment is provided along with transportation back to your vehicle at the park\, where you will also find restrooms for changing out of your wet attire and into dry clothes. Sign up for this fun trip on your registration form. \nMotorboat Tours: Friday\, 12pm\, 1pm\, 2pm\, 3pm or 4pm \nDeparting from the park above the Lower Salmon Falls Dam you will enjoy a 45-minute trip viewing the scenery and wildlife with an experienced guide. The boat holds 12\, so sign up for your trip on your registration form. When you check in on Thursday\, June 23rd\, you will sign up for the start time of your boat tour. \nDinner: Dutch Oven Barbecue\, Friday\, 5 pm \nCome and enjoy a country barbecue dinner alongside your fellow ST22 attendees. On the menu are grilled season steak\, teriyaki chicken\, dutch oven potatoes and baked beans\, green salad\, fruit\, and a variety of Dutch oven cobblers. Your meal will also include lemonade or water. This is a BYOB event and the caterer is kindly providing ice chests for use. Sign up for this dinner on the registration form. \nSATURDAY\, JUNE 25th :\nThe ST22 Car Show will be held at the Twin Falls City Park from 9:00 am – 2 pm. \nWe will meet at 8:30 am at the park\, outline spacing assignments\, etc. There is a plan for a food truck and volunteers will be doing raffle ticket sales to benefit the Children’s Museum of the Magic Valley. \nST22 Banquet: Saturday\, 5:30 pm\, Canyon Crest Convention Center \nThe evening begins with a no-host bar with a dinner buffet at 6:30 pm. Your dinner choices are seared flank steak with a mushroom reduction or garlic shrimp with saffron rice pilaf. Both entrees are gluten-free. Please make your selection of entrees on your registration form. Also included in the dinner buffet are tomato basil\, curry lentil\, potato chowder\, tortilla vegetable soups\, garden and Caesar salads\, and various chef-selected starch\, vegetable\, and dessert options. If you have any specific dietary allergies or limitations\, please also be sure to make a note on your registration form. \nAfter dinner\, the Summer Tour 2022 Car Show Awards will be presented.
